So @google AI-Mode (in German) thinks that its model was trained by @OpenAI - interesting. (The answer is differs for EN and other languages)

1. GOP calls for tech corps to improve public opinion on data centres. 2. A week later, xAI "discovers" a Chinese bot network amplifying anti-DC content. (... that OpenAI found back on June 26 already.)

Was das Team leistet? Eine effektive Steuervermeidungsstrategie. Einfach keine Erträge für die Volkswirtschaft und Anleger erarbeiten und dann erklären, was die Politik falsch macht. Thelen ist der Elon Musk, den Deutschland verdient.

I'm pretty sure we'll soon see B2B SaaS that's purely paid for with data. Google sits on tons of workspace data that it's not allowed to use (yet). I'm curious how they'll find a way to get users to consent to make it usable. Most likely through some "agentic use" dark pattern.

Hat schon jemand getwittert, dass die Niederlage des libertären ARG gegen das sozialistische Spanien symptomatisch für den Zustand der Länder ist? Nein? Achso, das ist nur bei Deutschland so? OK.

The hard truth is: Just using the returns on his principal capital, Elon Musk could give every baby born WORLDWIDE USD 1,000 and still remain a trillionaire. Instead, he chooses to cut the USAID support so that fewer kids survive in the developing world.

My hunch is, in a few years, we’ll understand that this isn’t (only) about companies not creating junior jobs in AI-affected occupations but also about youngsters not actively choosing any of these “doomed” professions. Older vintages are less flexible and stick to their profession.

I foresee a time when the EU will establish SEZs (Special Economic Zones) without EU tax and regulatory regimes to secure access to leading models... Oh wait. These exist already. They are called Ireland and Luxembourg.

Marked the fraction of DC cost that data centers in Space _might_ reduce while significantly complicating the remaining 90% of line items. Convincing proposition. [Data: EpochAI]

Google (Gemini) is poised to win the consumer market. (1) Unparalleled Distribution: 13 apps /w 1B+ users (2) Cheapest Inference: Only TPUs allow serving AI for free to 3B+ users (3) Data: No company on earth has more data (4) Team: Nobel-winning DeepMind lab allows serving AI without a subscription

Elon Musk has built a $2T company in 25 years. Dario Amodei has managed to do the same in 5 years. One guy is being idolised -- licked up and down for giving $250M to Trump, the other one is one product release away from a no-fly list. Will U.S. capitalism ever heal again?

LinkedIn is the real MoltBook - prove me wrong. 90% soulless AI slop by people mistaking outsourcing their PR to Chatbots for great leadership. I have zero respect for this, and it makes me question how they solve other tasks of their work...

If Anthropic really hits 11bn in Q2 sales, they are likely on a 60bn ARR path right now. That's 2x OpenAI's last run rate figures. Disclaimer: Calculation for illustrative purposes. Pure speculation based on the latest WSJ story.

When ChatGPT Image 2 came out, I was amazed by the little time it took to create complex, research-heavy slides or image requests. A month later, I am annoyed by the 90 to 120-second delay it creates in my workflow.

Any idea why Peter Thiel's Founders Fund is missing on the OpenAI Cap Table? That summer of 2025 round should be reflected. Dragoneer's stake is noted.

Former White House AI Czar @DavidSacks: "Mythos is not magic", "OpenAI's GPT-5.5-cyber can now do the same. The White House: "We cannot deploy Mythos to more than 50 companies, it's too damn dangerous."

I expect an urgent diplomatic wire from the White House warning the world about 3rd parties stealing the IP from U.S. model providers...

REUTERS: “SpaceX estimates that its total addressable market […] could be as much as $28.5 trillion. […] The S-1 regulatory filing, […] shows that SpaceX expects more than 90% of that market – or $26.5 trillion – could stem from the AI sector.”

Cursor will be worthless 3 years from now. But the “AI” segment of SpaceX looks so devastating that Elon urgently needs to add some growing 2025 revenue, which Cursor can deliver. Probably not the last acquisition he’ll make just to drive revenue growth ahead of the upcoming IPO.

ChatGPT Images 2 is just insane. Hundreds of hours of work in 50 seconds. For infographics, you don't even need to do the research, but the model combines research, thinking and image generation.

Anthropic has entered exponential growth in revenue AND valuation and is overtaking OpenAI as we speak. (Bloomberg reported investor interest at 800bn today)

⚠️ POLL: More Americans doubt vaccine safety than trust it! Appreciate the poll is somewhat tendentious - but the results are shocking nevertheless . MAHA should be designated as domestic terrorism. It’ll kill more people than 9/11 and all wars combined.

Another “big win” - the U.S. has overtaken China, Vietnam, North Korea and Pakistan in terms of mortality due to malnutrition. GDP growth and S&P500 returns are one thing. Distribution of prosperity is an entirely different story.

A detailed look at OpenAI’s Leaked Cap Table (credits: Forbes/Sheel Mohnot/Claude rebrush): → Sound Venture (Ashton Kutcher) is up 43x on his $30m investment → Khosla Ventures (first VC) is up 30x → Early Angels up 140x → Employees own 20% of the $850bn company → Non-Profit own 25% - $MSFT 27%

80% of SpaceX's valuation has been created in the last 12 months. Its revenue didn’t quintuple, but it grew in the low double digits. This IPO will be one of the biggest wealth redistributions (from bottom to top).
