The question "Is this condition overdiagnosed" is actually asking "Have we found an exceptional case of a medical issue where healthcare is too easy to get?" and the answer to that is always no. There has never, at any point, been a situation where it was too easy to get healthcare.

Like I think everyone is to some degree afraid of confronting their own failures and evaluating themselves in that way. This is normal, I can assume this about most people. But it's when you give up on that, whether through inaction or cope, that you actually start to lose to it.

Like if you're generating images because you're scared to learn to draw/paint because you'll be bad for a while, I see that and think "this person is afraid to recognise their own failure and learn from it, and has subsequently given up". The key part is not giving up I feel.
