GB quick snaps this. They're trying to catch the Lions not noticing that's Golden in the backfield, but Detroit was on it from the jump. If they're running traditional mesh, Love probably works to the crosser that ends up wide open. Belton handled the Hutch spin nicely.

Packers call mesh rail on 4th-and-4 and when Love lets this go, he sees DJ Reed trying to fight through the wash to get to Golden, the designed call. Reed navigates it perfectly and makes a great open-field tackle. Pierre Strong is running WAO on the backside.

Josh Jacobs first 5 carries went for 8 total yards. His final 6 carries went for 26 yards including an 8 and 10-yard run. He looked noticeably more comfortable in the second half. If he just averages 4 YPC, he would be such a massive upgrade for this ground game.

Went back and charted every non-completion from Sunday. 1 miscommunication 6 pressures that directly impacted the throw 4 drops 2 inaccurate balls 3 plays on the ball by a DB 2 other The 2 others are Golden getting bumped off his route on a timing through and the other a non-DPI call.

And the real problem with not going to Zeitler on Sunday is if you do want to make a change now, there's not going to be a real practice before the next game. So he doesn't even get real reps with his teammates.

For all the mistakes, the drops, the missed field goals, and horrible officiating, this could have won the game. Packers get exactly what they want after hitting Jacobs on the out twice earlier in the game. Perfect throw.

This play set up the short FG miss from Trey Smack. Lions show a 6-man front, but both ends drop. Travis Glover thinks Belton is going to take the end man, so he shows on the inside shade, then works outside. Detroit fools them with the front.

Only because the Packers have a new kicker this year. If you combine McManus and Smack, they clear

Harrison Butker's 15 missed kicks (10 FGs, 5 PATs) since start of last season are the most in NFL.

Absurd defensive penalties helped 3 Lions RZ trips. They scored 10 points on those trips, and the non-scoring drive required a fourth-down stop. That includes the game-winning drive. There's just no way around mentioning the impact the refs had on the game.

I don't know if it will be with the Packers, but is Keisean Nixon keeps playing like this, he's going to get paid by someone this offseason. He's having his best year as a Packer. He's been legitimately good lately.

Will be able to give a good look at the All-22, but if the Packers just have a regular play-action fake (instead of the whirlybird jet motion) on the Hutch sack, they probably have a TD. Packers had Christian Watson streaking across the field to green grass on a shot play.

That’s a play New York has to call down and say “you didn’t see the play.” That’s what LaFleur was trying to tell the official. He never saw ASB try to get up and run.
