Grand jury declines to indict Trump critic Cassidy Hutchinson over Jan. 6 testimony

cbsnews.comGrand jury declines to indict Trump critic Cassidy Hutchinson over Jan. 6 testimonyTLDR: there is specifically no justice, or puni.....tion(?) metered out to anyone... This is a celebration of a wonderful young woman, put in a unimaginably difficult scenario, who responded in a way that everyone should aspire to. The story is nothing more than celebrating the fact that she was not unduly punished for any of this. I am terrible at Reddit tho, so if this is too "Justice themed" er whatever... enough to merit it's removal then, by God, you guys go ahead and celebrate the punishment of ME, in the removal of this post that I've poured my SOUL into! All in an effort to give away or share, rather, even some small portion of the joy that this story gave me.... anyone who might , perhaps, find themselves open to reading some strange guys waaay too maaany wooords. Oh crap what do you do if you're TLDR becomes too long?! I fear there may simply be no place for me in this world...🥺 Actual post below: "If I were yeh, I'd feckoff while'ah still had th'legs t'carry'yeh!" Never posted here but snagged a peak at the rules and think this is aight. I simply saw this headline in my feed a few minutes ago and, times being what they are, my brain instantly misinterpreted the headline and blurted, "...oh, FFS!!!! of COURSE they would try to indict her too...dear GOD in heaven, could even POSSIBLY be a level of hell, low enough, to---" and, at THAT moment, at last, my constantly over-taxed PPU (.....m'brain, gett'it? derp) finally managed to close enough tabs I had running in the background to as properly submit it's FORMAL interpretation of the title. Y'know... So that I would know what it said in REALITY land. Good 'lil helper, that brain! And all at once, my mood was yanked out of that place you can sometimes go.... well, I go, at any rate... where..I find that, just entirely too many stupids are suddenly bursting into the ether of my personal bubble at such a fast pace, and with little to no break or pause between, with which to calm myself. Anyone get what I'm trying to describe here? I'm too fucking long winded, my GOD. ANYWAY, that shit had been happening for a couple days and my background anxiety was very perceptively leaking into the foreground of the conscious part of me... I'm almost HEARING myself slip into this state at this point, it happens so often... The infuriating helplessness created by my having to, on some level, simply KNOW of the existence and reality of so. many. stupid. fucking. things. People do to themselves, or in spite of themselves, to others, etc. ad infinitum. There is a low low level decibel tone, I swear, that accompanies the only mantra I can hear sometimes... That basic, primal, unspoken but gut-felt, "but.....wwhhyyy???!!" of it all, that you just carry silently as an added weight, knowing, full-well, you will never be met with a good answer. Oh shit, that's right! The news article! Goddamit I need betterhelp.com or something. Sorry. \^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^\^ So all this personal coping was where I was at. Misread the article heading, sank down lower.... Because I don't know if anybody other than me listened, at length, to her testimony during the January 6th trials but I DID. And everything about her so clearly gave the impression that this girl is such a good, properly & lovingly raised, well adjusted person, whose prior, lifelong held beliefs had been so violently rocked by the reality unfolding all around her, but EVEN IN THE CENTER OF ALL THAT and as young as she was at the time, she did what time has now revealed almost NO ONE else was been able to do. (With a few exceptions... And even among THOSE, many just immediately backslid right back into the shit) But the character of this Cassidy Hutchinson right here, floored me. She must have been terrified to go up on the stand with all that she knew. At this point, god knows how many big men and corporations had already crumbled, and at far less. But she was honest enough to herself and to fucking PUBLICLY RECOGNIZED COMMON MORALITY TO IDENTIFY WHEN WHATS WRONG IS FUCKING WRONG and she did what is basically, LITERALLY, unthinkable for everyone else who still represents that bullshit. She NOPED the fuck out of there and didn't look back . ....well, except for the testimony part, obviously... HAH! IS IT NOT UPLIFTING that this behemoth of good example setting will not be totally unnecessarily punished for being TOO strong in character and TOO much of an actual lover of her country to let what she witnessed in the Whitehouse just slide. I submit to ye, NAY!!! er, wait... yay?? fuck, whatever one means that her not being punished is good. If you read this personal cope of mine to this point, I don't know what to say. Sorry. Didn't mean for all this. Too much man, its too much. Get a hobby.
