My 1st ever apt in nyc was $150.00 per in 1974. It was fantastic, didn't have but a 2 burner hotplate, no closets, but had s lions paw tub big enough for 2, and an actual working fireplace. I wish I still lived there.

I just learned that Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. An alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform (and yes it's really easy to transfer your lists from Goodreads to StoryGraph). You know, while we're moving things.
