Stopped at the @lego store on the way home as I was tired of waiting for the replacement/ missing piece to show up in the mail. They didn’t have the piece but were able to figure out a work around.

I had an amazing lunch at Tony’s seafood restaurant At tamales Bay the sandwich is an oyster, bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich. How could life be better? I guess by adding french fries and a cocktail called a coastal spritz.

It was a beautiful funeral mass for Eileen Shrader, everyone called her granny. Fr Aidan J. McAleenan sent her home in style just as she wanted. I have to admit the this is the first time I’ve heard Dancing Queen as the recessional, but for Granny, it was perfect.

This is Susan Collins giving the most feckless response to ICE killings possible. She mastered the art of saying almost nothing while people are dying. The only proper response to the killing of Joan Sebastian Guerrero is outrage. VOTE HER OUT

Noticing a piece of the new “American flag blue” liner that was partially detached from the Reflecting Pool, David Hearn said he reached in to see what it felt like. Moments later, U.S. Park Police officers arrested him on a misdemeanor charge of destruction of government property. wapo.st/4xVNzcS

Absolute truth from Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Mike Luckovich. We warned you. You did it anyway. At that one moment, all you had to do was check the right box for a thriving, peaceful and successful life. And now every decent American is under complete, life-threatening assault.

The perfect day in the city part two after leaving the museum drove to Ghirardelli Square. Had lunch at McCormick, which has the best view in the city. I’m surprised it’s not overrun with tourists. Then walked the Embarcadero down through pier 39 through the heart of tourist-ville sans tourists

The perfect day in San Francisco part one, started with the new exhibit at the DeYoung Museum, Monet and Venice. Great show if you have an opportunity, I highly recommend it.
