Work has been rough. The mental toll of everything is really getting to me. We're being restructured so that everyone has to be able to do everything everyone else can do. "Cross training", "Removing silos", etc... We're all just perfectly interchangeable cogs in the machine.

It's spooky week so I'm feeling the Dark Wood deck tonight. Last Dracula stream before I move the cameras to a new game. Trying to up the high scores still. I hear Mortuary Assistant is a jump scare fest - guess we'll see if I jump.

Finished Phantasmagoria 2 - what the hell did I just play? 😵‍💫 That was the single strangest plot for a game I've ever seen. Equal parts X-Files, late night 90s Skinemax, and FMV game cheesiness. Thanks for the raid @oneeyedfreakbot.bsky.social - pasted it on to @amaraamanita.bsky.social

The Coin-Op Chantry is open 🩸 Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh: Analog/Liminal/Psychosexual Horror https://www.twitch.tv/pb_undesirables

OBS 33 breaks older plug-ins. Before you upgrade make sure the plug-ins you use support it. The one that broke for me & I didn't get working again was obs-image-reaction-1.3. Everything else got labeled as "Legacy" with the note that it will stop working in a future release.

Turned on BSD for the stream & found out its battery had died. Pinball machines of that era use AAs to hold the high scores in RAM. So I made it my goal to beat all the default high scores tonight & I did. Raided out to @oneeyedfreakbot.bsky.social

Tarot tonight! Free readings from the dive bar that is the Coin-Op Chantry. Thursday more Bram Stoker's Dracula pinball - will I take the grand champ score back? Sunday more of the psycho-sexual, proto-liminal, analog horror with late night 90s Cinemax quality acting. twitch.tv/pb_undesirab...

"Well that escalated quickly." I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started playing Phantasmagoria 2. I guess "Puzzle of Flesh" being the sub-title should have been a clue. Proto-liminal, psycho-sexual, analog horror - that's what kind of game this is. Should finish it next session!

Back to a normal week! Tarot tonight - still haven't decided on a deck. I'll feel it when i feel it. Thursday Bram Stoker's Dracula pinball. The DMD has given some issues so it might be a live debug stream if it goes out. Finally more psycho/sexual/liminal/analog horror with Phantasmagoria II Sunday

Finally a candy bar for conservatives who are afraid if the Snickers dick vein touches their tongue it will turn them gay!

No stream tonight. I'm just exhausted. Not enough sleep and looming existential dread will do that.

"We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing." -Konstantin Josef Jireček

This is why I won't play the HP pinball machine. Interacting with her work keeps it culturally relevant. Make. Her. Irrelevant.

The Coin-Op Chantry is open 🩸 Tarot: Nightmare Before Christmas Tarot | Free Readings! | !join https://www.twitch.tv/pb_undesirables

Tarot tonight! I think my Nightmare Before Christmas deck is calling to me. It tends to be pretty gentle so don't be afraid of getting a reading. Thursday more of my best spooky month pinball machine; Bram Stoker's Dracula. Nothing this weekend - family stuff. twitch.tv/pb_undesirab...

Phantasmagoria 2 has been surprisingly horny - I have a feeling I only think that because I have no idea of what I'm getting into.

Phantasmagoria 2 has been... Interesting. The CRT filter is really amplifying the liminal space / analog horror vibes. Thanks for the raids @gizzysinclairvt.bsky.social @amber-gray.bsky.social @noxiepurr.vtubers.social! It means a lot to me for people to trust me with their communities!

Joyce's argument only works if you believe that Romance Novels can be slop - because that's all AI can produce, slop. So when is slop appropriate? To seriously answer that question I have to set aside the energy consumption issue. My conclusion is letters to my Republican congress critters.

Tarot tonight! Feeling the deck Spheres of Heaven; it's an interesting deck with a discordian philosophical twist. Since it's Spooky Season I'll be playing Bram Stoker's Dracula on Friday. Starting Phantasmagoria 2 on Sunday. 1st play-through - I hear it's some bonkers 90s FMV horror.

I really got back from DragonCon and thought "Ya'll MFers need more Tarot" - had a fun time with Thursday bonus tarot. The Dark Wood deck continues it streak of being brutal but honest. Raided out to @oneeyedfreakbot.bsky.social playing Sweet Home (The Mamiya House) on Famicom.

Felt good to be back to streaming after the Hiatus! Thank you so much to the people who showed up - there's no tarot if there's no querents. More readings Thursday. Thanks @ashenagrey.bsky.social for the raid - I passed it on to Anxiety_Bear.
