Melmë ná melmë. Love is love in Quenya, the language of the High Elves in Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings.” Happy Pride Month, everyone!

THE NEW TENNESSEE STATE FLAG

I woke up at 3:30 a.m. and read this news. There are no words to describe just how devastating it is. Tragic, horrific, senseless are all major understatements. A great light in the world has been extinguished. abcnews.go.com/US/2-found-d...

God: “Richard Nixon, I want you to take the ghosts of Benedict Arnold, John Wilkes Booth, and Henry Kissinger to earth to scare someone and get him to repent of his sins before Christmas.” Nixon: “Who are we scaring, lord?” God: “His name is Donald J. Trump.” Nixon: “We’re gonna need more ghosts.”

Senate Dems are the Charlie Brown to the Fascist Republicans Lucy holding the football and promising not to pull it away. And Mike Johnson won’t let the House vote on the deal anyway.
