Today under my needle window seal logs. I’ve noticed some cold air coming in at the bottoms of my window this winter. So I decided to make some logs to place in the window. I’ve gotten a couple of them down and they seem to be working! I wasn’t sure what to do with this flower print fabric because

I think this was the second quilt I had made. Even as a fifth generation quilter and learning lots from my grandmothers and mother. I still turn to YouTube a lot as I am a visual learner. This is your reminder that it doesn’t matter how you start as long as you start. You will find not perfect

Needing advice on a new mini iron. I was sitting here today and noticed the one I have was acting as though it was heating even though it’s set to 0 (it’s off position). This is the first I’m noticing of this and the iron is several years old and on the cheaper side. It has been unplugged

We needed a new curtain for our back door a few months ago and I absolutely love how this patchwork curtain turned out. I made two panels and then backed them with plain white to help insulate and hide the seems. #quilting #quiltsky

Any advice or resources out that for someone wanting to write a quilt patten? I have put this top together once and plan to a second time to try and document everything. I have been looking at patterns to try and get a feel for it but any suggestions would be helpful. Designed with EQ8! #Quilting

Being physically disabled I spent a lot of time grew up in doors but that also gave me a chance to watch my grandmother and mother at the sewing machine. Fast forward to a few years ago when I needed a hobby and what should call to me, a sew machine. I took up making quilt tops and quilted throws.

Making me a 5th generation quilter in my family. I’m blessed to still have one grandmother and mother around that I can asked questions to. Along with the countless videos people put out. I’m definitely a visual learner when it comes to patterns.
