As usual the media are focusing on the theater around Dr. Fauci’s testimony. There is one factual question that I’m interested in. Is there merit to Senator Paul’s assertion that US-funded gain-of-function research could be linked to the Covid pandemic. I’d like to hear from experts in the field.

“Si elle est entérinée, cette nouvelle cible d’augmentation du prix réel des crédits risque de constituer un recul sur les politiques climatiques implantées par Justin Trudeau.” Oui mais cette fois une partie prenante qui compte est d’accord.

How did we normalize sacrificing 90k people a year in the U.S. when renewable energy is safer and now cheaper? When people talk about the inconvenience of public transit, biking, installing heat pumps, electrifying our grid, please remind them of the sacrifice we make by not making the transition.

I wrote about this when the California wildfires happened & disabled people died. We aren’t factored into emergency planning. We aren’t considered in pandemic preparedness. The expectation is we will simply “fall by the wayside”. We can do better. Including us would make things safer for all

disabledginger.comDisabled People are the Canaries in the Coal MineWhen it comes to natural disasters, pandemics, or disruptions to "normal" life, disabled people are proverbial canaries. We get hit harder and faster than others. Why aren't we factored into plans?
