For less than the cost of one data center, which does nothing, I could buy thousands of pieces of the finest furry pornography, which also does nothing, but hurts no one and gives me a boner.

Change is possible, despite what media messaging would have you believe - a better future is within our realisation, and it's a future without fascists or tech oligarchs.

I fucking LOVE VOTING UGHHHH

Kurrikage@kurrikage.me

Please vote. Please make a plan to vote. If you've early voted already thank you, now make sure your friends do too. Nothing changes if you do nothing. Make the results indisputable. Never trust the polls. Vote like we're behind. Vote for those that cannot. It is your right, don't let it be stolen

It's funny because Western countries always love to say that Asian countries love and fully embrace AI. Do they tho????

ToonHive@toonhive.bsky.social

China’s first AI-generated theatrical film, β€˜Sanxingdui: Future Past’, has bombed at their domestic box office, only making $121,000 USD against a budget of $1.5M USD. In contrast, the crudely animated β€˜Niu Lai’ made nearly $10M USD against a budget of $200-500 USD.

The lying machine strikes again!!!

During the brazilian elections we learned one obvious but important tactic to defeat the far right on the Internet and I think everyone should know it: IGNORE THEM! DON'T ENGAGE WITH THEIR CONTENT! DON'T MAKE CONTENT REACTING TO THEM! DON'T HATE QRT! LET THEM ALONE IN THEIR BUBBLE!

Online reviews for medical practices are really unhelpful because they're all "this place made me pay!!!" Like yes, America sucks but I need to know if the doctors are good lol not the system

GET OUT AND VOTE GODDAMN YOU

Adam Schwarz@adamjschwarz.bsky.social

So how did Lula come from behind to defeat Bolsonaro? In short, turnout. Bolsonaro's vote share barely moved. But Lula banked millions of votes from those who didn't vote in the first round & won eliminated candidates' votes. A remarkable mobilisation. Second round turnout is usually below first.

Lula winning is great for the planet, great for Brazil, and great for people who aren't revanchist assholes everywhere in the world, but let's not forget that it's also going to make some of the worst people on Earth extremely sad and mad. We should enjoy that, as a little treat.
