While at my farmer's market, I noticed a young teenage girl reading the book Fahrenheit 451. When I asked her if she was reading for pleasure or school, she said pleasure . She also told me that she was enjoying the book. #Booksky

I was telling my friend how I was enjoying "He Who Fights with Monsters" by Shirtaloon, and he suggested I might also enjoy "Dungeon Crawler Carl" Series by Matt Dinniman. He was right. My biggest problem is finding time to finish both series. #BookSky

My first introductory meeting with new supervisor went well. After asking what I didn't like, I said working lunches because I am an introvert and use my lunch to recharge my social battery. He said he was also an introvert and understood. We are going to work well together.

To those still complaining about Artemis 2: We spend 100× more on killing people for oil profits, but yeah, NASA’s the problem. 🤦🏽‍♀️ NASA: $25B Defense: $901B That’s 36 NASAs. Space programs have driven major advancements in science, medicine, and technology, real benefits for humanity.

Dear Sam's Club service member, if i tell you that I DON'T want to upgrade plus membership, stop with the sales pitch! If the line hadn't been so long behind me, I would had to use my accounting skills to show you may save $12 now but it still a loss over long term

I'm seeing a serious uptick in people being shamed for taking a step back from this dystopian reality for a recharge or distraction. Whether it's a film, watching sports, playing a game, or just walking the dogs, self-care is essential. Denying yourself a break is a recipe for burnout.
