Today we are introducing Wanaku, the 1st open-source #MCP Router! Wanaku aims to provide unified access, routing & resource management capabilities for your organization and your #AI #Agents. You can meet Wanaku at www.wanaku.ai

wanaku.aiHome - Wanaku.aiMeet Wanaku, the first open-source MCP Router that acts like a friendly, efficient receptionist for your digital office. Get Started The Wanaku MCP Router stands between autonomous AI agents and your ...

The upcoming Wanaku 0.3.0, to be released in a few days, makes it a lot easier to run @ApacheCamel routes in a governed way. Given a running @wanaku.ai instance on #OpenShift or #Kubernetes, it's essentially: wanaku cloud run integration my-integration.yaml

The operator takes care of the rest. The integration gets added as a forward. It's tools automatically registered on startup. Its #MCP tools, resources and prompts become guarded by Wanaku's policies and evaluators.

1/4 Wanaku is evolving — and our MCP routing ecosystem now uses both Rust and Java. The core routing engine is moving to Rust, while the Camel Integration Capability, CLI, and Kubernetes Operator remain Java/Quarkus. Why? Different problems, different strengths. 🧵

3/4 Java isn’t going anywhere. Wanaku Barn remains the home for the Camel-based integration layer, CLI, Kubernetes Operator, service catalogs, templates, and artifact registry. Rust handles the proxy/routing problem. Java + Camel handles enterprise integration.

2/4 The Rust side is becoming our LLM / A2A / MCP routing engine, built on Praxis. Its filter pipeline handles namespace isolation, conversation classification, tool execution, response interception — and WASM-based governance, with custom logic written in Rust or JavaScript.

New in Wanaku 0.2.0: The sql-tool template! 🚀 Connect your #AI to live #PostgreSQL databases using #MCP & #ApacheCamel. Turn user prompts into dynamic #SQL queries instantly. Dive into the details here 👇 wanaku.ai/blog/posts/2...

wanaku.aiBuilding an MCP SQL Tool for LLMs with Wanaku and Apache Camel | WanakuWanaku's new sql-tool service template connects AI assistants to live relational databases through MCP, letting them query real data instead of guessing from stale knowledge.

New in 0.1.1: ✅ Service Templates (reusable integration blueprints via Camel Property Placeholders) ✅ CLI workflow: init → expose → package → deploy ✅ Kubernetes Operator + CRDs for declarative deployment Built on #Quarkus. Open source. Fast.

Why it matters: AI agents can now interact with legacy systems, enterprise middleware, and non-REST APIs — all through battle-tested Apache Camel patterns. No custom glue code. Just YAML and the Wanaku CLI. #OpenSource #AI #Integration

I've been running multiple AI coding agents in parallel across different machines. The problem: it's chaos. I'd forget about sessions and recover them days later. So I built a dashboard to fix it. Quick demo 🧵👇

Now that Wanaku 0.0.8 is out, it's time to focus on the features for 0.0.9. One of the main items in the backlog for this one is an operator to make deployments and management easier.

I’ve just got accepted to #DevoxxMorocco! Looking forward to my first time in Morocco, where I will be speaking about #MCP, Wanaku, #AI, #Java, Enterprise Integration and everything in between 🇲🇦🤩

These are interesting times in tech ... But there's so much cool stuff happening at the same time on the areas I'm interested about, coupled with the impossibility to follow each one of them, that sometimes is impossible to not let the impostor syndrome creep in 😔

The High Tatras region is gorgeous, the views are breathtaking, and the people are very nice. Unfortunately the same can’t be about their prices. They simply don’t match reality … it’s unbelievable how expensive every attraction is 🤯

Whenever someone shares a performance comparison of programming languages, many folks are surprised to see #Java rank up very high. I think by now it's kinda criminal how underrated Java and the JVM are in circles not familiar with it. This misconception is the biggest challenge for this platform.

I’ve seen busy reconstruction summers in Brno, but nothing like this one. It feels like every few hundred meters in the city center has something going on …

I can't help but feel a bit of envy seeing multiple colleagues on PTO already. Luckily, just one more week until I can logoff and spend a few days exploring the Tatras ... 😫
