Once Upon a Wasteland Productions

"Once Upon a Wasteland" is an award-winning post-apocalyptic science-fiction romance audio drama set in Bethesda's #Fallout universe. It follows the story of Elizabeth Kirby and Odessa Valdez as they work together to save the civilization growing in Appalachia and fall in love along the way.🧵

I learned today that a beloved #Fallout creator has left the space and is considering leaving content creation altogether because of cyberstalking and harassment by a member of the community. This behavior is unconscionable & has no place in our or any other community.

My birthday Nuka Cola fridge has been set up, and guess who got to be the first sticker bomb?? 💕 #Fallout @reticentduet.onceuponawasteland.com @vitriolplays.bsky.social @onceuponawasteland.com

I learned today of the death of Stephen Dobyns. I met him when we both took a Spanish class when I was an undergrad (he was the head of the Creative Writing Department at the time) and immediately fell in love with his work. This is my favorite poem of his: onceuponawasteland.com?page_id=261

I'm considering applying to host an #audiodrama panel discussion at #GalaxyCon Raleigh next July. I would want three other people as part of the panel and I'd like to represent different facets of the genre. Anyone interested?

Episode 5 of "Dark Road Diaries," "Your Damnation Is Important to Us," is live! After Jack and Daria’s “perfect” date ends in supernatural property damage, they find themselves ensnared in a different kind of hell - customer service. #audiodrama #podcast #comedy

#Casting Call! We're looking for four roles for Episode 6 of the show - a nervous, officious property man, an impeccably nosy local busybody, a weary, practical parish priest, and a confused, superstitious laborer. #audiodrama #podcast

Let me be very clear. Once Upon a Wasteland Productions could not be more strongly against this proposal by the FCC. It is not simply hurtful & unnecessary, but harmful. It exists purely to other normal people living their lives as they have for millennia. Please comment your opposition. We have.

Today is my birthday. Do with that information whatever you see fit.

Episode 4 of "Dark Road Diaries," "A Perfect Evening," is live! Jack’s perfect birthday plan for Daria hits a few spooky potholes, but love still gets a candlelit fighting chance. #audiodrama #podcast #comedy

Write a scene with seven speaking characters, they said. It'll be fun to edit, they said. 😅

What I'll be wearing to the Wasteland Jamboree Gala! Not cosplaying, rather going for a kind of pre-war pastiche. Inspired by Coop's cravat-wearing in pre-war Vegas. 😃 Hope I fit in amongst all the awesome cosplay!

Hot off the presses - a new animated logo!
