Breitbart frames the hiring as Anthropic and OpenAI recruiting Trump administration alumni “to Build Relationship with Washington” as frontier AI's national-security status grows.

Breitbart also emphasizes that Anthropic labeled the Trump administration a business risk in its IPO prospectus (“may experience material revenue losses or business disruptions”), even though government contracts were “less than one percent” of its revenue (via Reuters). CNBC has neither point.

CNBC frames the moves as the industry “poaching” Trump officials as it “fights for Washington's trust” and “scrambles to strengthen ties,” with frontier AI “increasingly viewed as a national security issue” amid growing calls for regulation and cybersecurity incidents caused by rogue AI systems.

Only Breitbart printed Iran's refusal to export its highly enriched uranium even if Hormuz reopened, so left-leaning accounts of a seven-day peace plan skip the nuclear red line the war was fought over. omitted.news/story/iran-o...

3/ Every claim links to the source articles it came from, so you can always check our work. When we can't check it, we don't say it. We never guess at motives — we report the gap, you judge why it's there.

4/ It's automated, it runs on every story the same way whichever side the findings embarrass, and the week's five sharpest bottom lines land in a free Sunday email: omitted.news

2/ Omitted reads left- and right-leaning coverage of every big story, shows both sides, and names what each side's coverage leaves out. With receipts: the exact fact, who carried it, who didn't.
