Glorious start to the morning; looked out of the bedroom window as starlings and sparrows hurtled past me into the birdbath which is really living up to its name. Water butts are earning their keep this year.

I have sorted out the hoover and removed a blockage and a pile of old dust. Then I tried to hoover the pile carpet and couldn't move it because of the fierce suction 🫤, so changed the setting to minimum and just about managed to do it. Now feeling epic!

New DVD recorder in place (RIP old one) and new telly combo done upstairs. Downstairs channel update promptly lost me several I like and have to wrangle freeplay and U to watch the boxset. When TV upstairs offered new channels I declined and am set to what I'm used to including missing channels.
