Real art isn't meant to coddle you. It's also not meant to challenge your preconceptions or evoke an emotional response. It's meant to be annoying

in the event of an apocalyptic event like nuclear war or zombie outbreak i will use my last remaining strength to write out notes that say things like "i don't feel so good, nobody had better open my safe, the code for which is 6816" and smear yellow paint on things

Had AXA doctors appt. The notes I received contained egregious errors; incorrect medication, invented medical history, additional 'causes' that had not been discussed. After some complaining and investigation, can you guess? Yes, doctors using AI notetakers and not checking things. Awesome.

Encountered a few solitary Search Console impressions for product URLs using the /paths from a competitor's site. I feel this would be a good interview question if you wanted to watch someone throw shit at the wall (some people are better at it).

Keep them guessing by prepending all your messages with "Here's a cleaner version that keeps the casual, instant-messenger style tone:" (never typing, only pasting and hitting send)

Incentive wise I think >90% of the time the employee would be better off writing on their own time and posting it on a platform they control. If good, the employer is still incentivised to promote ("look at our staff") As progression box ticking it doesn't usually produce great (or even ok) output

One of the hardest things to do as a marketer (well some) is both encourage team members to write and blog, while also not over investing your time and energy into posts with a low likelyhood to perform. How do you all balance this?

"I'm sure my aging ears from life as a touring musician are in a much better place to remix/remaster this album I worked on 30 years ago. I certainly won't master everything slightly louder and make some weird choices with reverb."

"it's so weird they put an 'Anarchy In The UK' cover as Track 3 on 'So Far, So Good...So What!', it really messes with the flow of the album and should have been a bonus track" should be a mandela effect.

Oh it’s Reacher, the largest man I have ever seen by quite some measure. Well, time to fight him one on one for some reason

[reporter doing nothing other than quoting CEOs] this is the most important time doing this Job….wow. Covering the fast paced world of technology is difficult

imagining the internal eyebrow raises at _this_ being the largest reduction in quality and not _that_

Google says it pushed out its "largest reduction in quality" for Google Search in its 29 year history over the EU DMA changes for vertical search services (VSS) www.seroundtable.com/google-eu-dm... #google #dma #googleeu #eu #search

if someone wearing the streaming glasses speaks to you you can hold your nose and ask "can't you smell that?" and start wretching "I'm sorry, it smells so bad, I'm not going to have a conversation with someone who has shit themselves. Please get away from me, I'm going to be sick" etc etc

Getting an email to say someone has used an emoji on your email is a feature I like to think about (in terms of all the useful features and fixes it was prioritised over).
