Did I already want to see Coyote vs. Acme? Yes. Do I now want to see it more because of Coyote/ Roadrunner fan edit to I'll Believe Anything? Yes. #wilerunner

Steve just wants proof. Proof that his dad cares about him as more than just a trophy child. So he makes the logical decision to stage his own kidnapping. He plans every step carefully.

His plan went off without a hitch. His dad actually showed up but now he's got some ransom money to spend. He can't believe his luck. But of course Steve wasn't that lucky. Because little did he know that professional car thief Eddie Munson has been on the hunt for a car just like Steve's BMW.

So he boosts it, not knowing there is a "missing heir" in the trunk. Which now, as Eddie stares at a tied up Steve in his chop shop explains the helicopters and police cars chasing him. So not only is he facing kidnapping on top of grand theft auto, but the rich kid in the trunk won't play nice.

Steve just wants proof. Proof that his dad cares about him as more than just a trophy child. So he makes the logical decision to stage his own kidnapping. He plans every step carefully.

The last part of the plan is to call the cops as the "kidnapper" after the ransom drop and let them know he can be found tied up in the trunk of his BMW. As he hangs up the phone he tapes his ankles, his mouth, cuffs himself and hides in the trunk of the car, and waits to be rescued.

Strange Case of the Starship Hawkins - Steve doesnโ€™t know how many times heโ€™s heard that message already. Heโ€™s too busy staring out the window of Starship Hawkins at the remains of what had been his crewโ€™s shuttle - a fireball he can see out the port window (archiveofourown.org/works/77738551)

We were robbed of an Erica versus an interrogator scene Erica: are you seriously trying to interrogate a minor without her parents or an attorney present. Interog: do you have an attorney Erica: *slides over a business card* Now I'm going to sleep until an actual adult gets here.

It's nice when your partner knows you well enough to get you amazing gifts. The record is an OG from the 70s to replace the original of my mother's that I lost in a move ๐Ÿ’š

Eddie's record hauls now include sound effect records for Steve. The first time he hands it over, Steve just thinks he's encouraging his new job. Robin, on the other hand knows better.

NGL I'm excited for all the Steddie, Stobin, Ronance, and Buckingham fics surrounding the radio station with titles like First Time Caller, Long Time Listener

Eddie comes into his regular coffee shop startled by the new barista behind the counter. Thankfully the line is long so he has time to come to grips with how stunningly handsome the man is. When he finally gets to the counter and orders his coffee the man asks, "Name?" Eddie is confused.

They've never asked for a name here and he wondered if this Adonis is stereotyping him. "Umm this place doesn't ask for names. You didn't ask that guy's name," Eddie notes pointing to the guy waiting for his drink. The barista smirks and says, "well yeah, he's not as cute. I'm Steve by the way."

Steddie community! What are some of the common and unique careers you've seen our boys put into over the years in fanfic? I'm looking for anything from hairdresser to lighthouse keeper

Corroded Coffin fund their summer tours by working the Indianapolis Renaissance Festival as a minstrel music act led by Eddie. Steve, forced into buying a season pass by Dustin and the party, finds himself in the crowd for almost every performance, charmed by the masked frontman

When Eddie's daughter starts a goth phase, he voices his concern to Steve one night. "I mean what if she's really depressed? Have you heard these songs? They're all about death..." The next night Eddie finds printed lyrics from Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, & more on his pillow w/ the attached note

During Steve's sophomore year, he single-handedly caused the largest mono outbreak in Hawkins High history. He also caused the largest wave of breakups because not only the girls were infected but the guys too...

Steve acts surprised when the Party discovers the gate in the lake. He has to act because he knows the gates don't close. After all, he didn't stop Richard Harrington from his night swims when he came home for his annual critique of Steve. And it's why his mom thinks he ran off with his secretary.

Steve walks out of their bedroom on his Levi 501s & yellow sweater, when Eddie suddenly asks, "Do me a favor, stop wearing that sweater?" "Why? I like this sweater..." "You were wearing it the day I fell for you. The more you wear it, the more worn out it'll get..." "I'll go change," Steve smiles

Steve and Eddie request only books and clothes for their kid's first birthday. Union man Wayne is making sure his grandbaby can piss off Harrington Sr. from an early age.

Cinephile Robin Buckley definitely obsessed over both these books in high school and lectures Steve on queer subtext in movies as their friendship grows. Yet someone she's still surprised when Steve comes out to her

Like any good AO3 authors note I get to give an unhinged update. Pre-orders for the zine will be open until July 7 because I fell and had a seizure today! Currently at the hospital awaiting tests so writing this update is my way of killing time. #steddie #ao3authorsnote ko-fi.com/s/e6ca35ed1e

"Opening May 3, 1986 - Dollywood!" Steve sees the ad when he's watching Eddie recover bedside. He doesn't bring it up to anybody because there's no way anyone in the Party would want to go to a Dolly Parton themed park out in Tennessee.

That's how Steve learns that not long after Wayne took in Eddie, he drove his nephew out to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a fun weekend at Silver Dollar City. He worked overtime to save up some extra cash just so he could give Eddie some good memories after everything Al Munson put him through.

They never made it back out to Gatlinburg even though they kept trying. But now they had a plan. "Do you think Wayne would want to go?โ€ โ€œWho do you think introduced me to country music? Of course he'd want to go.โ€

As they rove through Hawkins he learns that Eddie Munson is secretly a country fan. He likes the classics. Classics like Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Woody Guthrie. But most importantly Dolly Parton. Steve tells Eddie about his silly end of summer goal.

He fully expects him to laugh and think it's silly that he wants to go to a Dolly Parton themed amusement park. But he doesn't laugh. Instead he gets oddly quiet and asks, "Wait, they're converting the old Silver Dollar City into Dollywood?"

He figures maybe he can spend the summer working at Family Video with Robin, save up some money, & convince her to go as an end of summer hoorah. It's about a month later when he's driving around town with Eddie that Jolene comes on the radio and Eddie doesn't immediately change the station.

Just 48 hours left! Because of the support I've made 4x6 prints of the cover to include with all the pre-orders! Only a handful of extras will be left after the pre-order so grab yours now!
