Saw Primetime the other day and, given Hansen's reaction, I expected the movie to be way meaner than it actually was. Oppenheim depicts him as this mythological figure so caught up in a battle against Evil that he forgets both he and his targets are just men. Such an interesting angle

Also, just straight up stellar casting, all 3 of the main trio. Like, of course Robert Pattinson is great, but Merritt Wever (who I only knew from Nurse Jackie) is so good at being despicable, and Skyler Gisondo is fantastic at expressing what his character is feeling without saying a word
