I'm genuinely shocked that this game is free. It's polished, beefy, seems well designed, and the demo did relatively well on Steam. Sign of the times? Overwhelming competition? Either way, grab it. It's kinda like Darkest Dungeon/Griftlands with Borderlands' setting and sense of humor.

Game developers who plan to release a game on #Steam: the time for a build review displayed is completely outdated! It used to be 3-5 days, but nowadays, it takes around 2 weeks for each round of review. You might need 4-6 weeks if have fixes to make. Plan accordingly!

Burn With me! The style and atmosphere are amazing, and the gameplay was so fun! Normal mode was perfectly balanced to be short and sweet and satisfying. Then I decided to try hard mode... and stayed up way too late trying and mostly failing. 😁 A great time! store.steampowered.com/app/2954010/...

Seriously, this game is a lot of fun. It does a good job of letting you experiment with different mechanics before throwing them all together and having you figure out new synergies.

This game is *super* clean. Simple, smart, pithy…. And gets quite clever! Well worth a play.

At this point I feel like I can share some mild spoilers for Burn With Me! This die lives on my table since early summer, when I started implementing 5th chapter. I didn't really *need* it for gamedesign, but just fidgeting with it helped to come up with some nice ideas for Ronald's chapter!

Burn With Me is playable on the Steam Deck and got the approval from Steam! Actually, it's a perfectly smooth experience already - and many Steam Deck reviews highlight that! But I need to think what to do with the small-ish text on cards in hand...

Three best decisions we had during Burn With Me development: adding narrative to the game, investing in sound design, and contacting Alec to narrate main character. I would have never predicted, HOW much a good voice acting can do for the game! Thank you Alec 💙

I've been playing Burn With Me store.steampowered.com/app/2954010/... and going to get a review up for it soon. A very different take on deck building, almost more puzzle-like than roguelike, if you're someone looking for something different to do with deck building.

I absolutely LOVE making more than one trailer for a game. I like to push myself further, to step beyond my initial instincts and into unknown territory. Strange Scaffold give me a lot of opportunities to do this, but you can see that same fire in my recent trailer for Burn With Me.
