I mean the Novembear/buck jam is pretty earnest. It does have a "meta" element that it is a response to May Wolf's stricter rules, but I wouldn't call it irony or cynical. They just want a different type of game jam

I think the novembanimal jam is pretty earnest, though certainly "aware" that the maywolf jam exists. And while the maywolf jam is... definitely a bit on its own supply, I think there's still plenty of eager creatives taking part in them
