well, i have been distracted from the story cause i have been joining the PMD: Writers United discord server, and instead concentrate to write, i've been distracted by rather fun rp reusing the character my protag is minorly based on.

Anything digimon with the X-Virus and tron legacy have like a same core issue where like the antagonist is depicted as evil because of a genocide, but then in additional material, their actions are justified. If they would have not done that, the system would have crashed and so would have died.

So like in Tron Legacy there is humanization of CLU to be like mostly following a flawed order by a creator god that was flawed and felt abandoned (although "creating the perfect system" is not inherently including a genocide of the ISOs)

for digimon, one can only argue additional motivations for Yggdrasil, like the X-Virus and Project Arc being a very late plan to solve the issue, when its an issue that could have been predicted a long time ago. one could argue that Yggdrasil just wanted to kill all beings or to dish out cruelty.

for my pmd story plans: I am more self concious about the fact that Aezaes Tale has an important Riolu and Buizel and not that Victory fire also deals with shadow pokemon fucking things up, lol

i mostly call it a whim so that when it wont happen, it was at least a good thinking excercise and speaks more of spontaneity and not of "if i dont do this, i failed as a person"

like often enough they are an entire arc, but i dont think thats what chapters SHOULD be i do think a bit that a chapter should be a single important event, or like a gaze away to concentrate on supporting cast, and not "we got the begin, middle and end of an entire story"

I can now cruelly joke “once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, thrice is a pattern" for the specific fact of getting character art for an RP and it dying within days.
