I may be taking a break from 3D printing but my website is still full of #ffxiv models for download! All home grown CAD, no AI & nothing scraped from the game. So, to celebrate 1k followers here: like & repost this to enter a raffle for 1 of 4 Aetheryte Ticket fridge magnets or a £10 giftcard!

Job hunting is soul sucking. I know I am capable and experienced but the longer I scroll through pages of things I'm not specifically suited for, the lower my confidence in my own abilities gets.

My #Transformers #Soundwave collection is now at 127 different figures / pieces of merch. 2 were 3D printed by me, 3 are re-colours & only 1 is a KO, as far as I'm aware. I have 2 more on pre-order then a further 63 items I'm aware of that I don't have.

Collecting these brings me joy, but if things keep going the way they are I might have to sell them all. Such is life.

While I'm waiting to talk to a doctor about it, I think it's likely that what I thought was #3dprinting fumes making me ill, is actually a psychosomatic reaction to stress and anxiety and I've been overdoing it and burned myself out without recognising the signs.

This does mean it's possible I will return to printing eventually, but for now I need to get a handle on this as I'm currently incapable of doing my hobbies, my job, and I'm currently in a limbo where trying to figure out a way forward makes me feel even worse. I'll keep y'all posted.

I wish I could sit in a bath of warm broth and pretend I'm ramen. I feel like that would cure me of all my problems.

Made it back from #VeXpo. Didn't know what was happening half the time, but I was just happy to be there. Good vibes. I got to see both @shiberi.com and @kinstera.bsky.social, which brought joy, and meet a few other folk too :D I've now made it home with Taco Bell to curl up for the evening.

I need to look into having another person or company make my designs if I'm going to sell merch in future. Or I need one or more partners who make/sell on my behalf, so I get a small cut. I always took pride in making them myself, it feels like cheating to have someone else do it. #ffxiv #3dprinting

Just realised I should post these all at once. For health reasons I'll be taking an indefinite break from #3dprinting but I have put the model files on my website notjan.net So, here's the new designs I was going to release over the next 8 days. (Day 9 remains a secret.) #ffxiv

For health reasons I'll be taking an extended break from any #3DPrinting. I've spent the past month gearing up for a big release of new designs but I cannot go ahead with it. BUT I have made the #ffxiv 3d printing model files live. So, here's my #9daysofNot all in one go:

While there are older projects I want to circle back to eventually, it's been so nice ignoring the pressure I had been putting on myself to finish them and making something new. Sometimes you just gotta get out your own way. So many new models with even more in the works. Exciting times ahead.
