I don't quite subscribe to there being a "left" and "right" in the sense of a spectrum, so I can't subscribe to the horseshoe theory. I do think people will do whatever increases their power but doesn't force them to self-reflect, so all your basic assholes end up acting generally the same.

Re: AI, art is both a commodity and a means of human connection, but when what I thought was human connection turns out to be mostly commodity, I feel a little betrayed and tricked and don't want it anymore.

I usually hold out longer before I give up on a book, but overwrought and underthought, narrated in Poet Voice, is a big comedic vomit sound. Two paragraphs and I regret blowing past so many red flags.
