i had a feeling and i could not put it into words. but basically it's fucked up that people can be gone and we should do our best to stop that from happening.

Software in 2016: (click X) (window closes) Software in 2026: (click X) Understood, you're done with that window. And honestly? We respect that. We'll show you less of that window in the future. Your feedback is so important to us.

dragon's dogma 2: dark arisen kicks ass. there's new content that feels like the developers tinkering with systems and pushing them to their limits. and other parts feel like them future-proofing the game with optional replayable endgame stuff.

i can't comment on the new story at all because it's too early. but the stuff i have seen genuinely feels like a team that finished a game, spent a good long time thinking about what they'd do differently, and then got the chance to actually do that.

imagine getting punched by 20 skeletons once each. like really think about it. you got punched by a skeleton. ow. another one shuffles over. it also punches you. and that keeps happening longer than you'd think it would. that's what it would be like to get punched by 20 skeletons once each.

the final zone of evercold is going to be a tour of the lost, frozen world as we talk to all the remnants of the past. it will invite you to consider the pain the villain feels at the loss all around them. and it will absolutely kill the momentum of the story as you perform menial chores for ghosts

the final dungeon of evercold will also be a tour of the lost, frozen world, except now there's action in it and the villain is monologuing over it. despite killing the emotionally complex final boss in their transformed state, some version of them will live on. itll be called Let It Go or some shit
