How about we go with a compromise temperature scale? 0 Deg is the freezing point of water, and 100 Deg is human body temp. Easy enough to convert to or from C by multiplying by 100/37 or 37/100 depending on the direction. Did I mention the unit is just "Deg"? (no floaty circle thing)

The thumbs-up 👍 emoji appears to by my left hand (from my point of view), but the thumbs-down 👎is someone else's left hand. I don't see my own fingers when I make the thumbs down gesture. Shout-out to lefties I guess, but this switch in perspective is weird.

I made the mistake of listening to Boléro this morning. It's still playing in my head. How do you make it stop?

It's back! Yay!

@jeffbach.bsky.social Hi. It looks like we are working on similar automated block lists, but you were smart enough to put yours on a different account. One thing I've been looking into lately is high churn for following/unfollowing.

For my long weekend hacking project, I'm playing with the Bluesky APIs and Jetstream to create a block list of users who spam by following too many people. bsky.app/profile/did:...

Does @moderation.bsky.app report on this kind of nonsense?

Oops forgot the alt text: image shows a table of did, total_follows, total_unfollows, and total_activity for accounts who are spamming by following and unfollowing a lot.

Over 6000 users on this block list so far and I feel like I'm still missing tens of thousands (at least). I suspect a lot of the spam accounts are following and unfollowing to keep the total count down while still generating many notifications. Who else is working on this?
