Absolutely love this marketplace review for my Bullet Launch boilerplate! All the boilerplate doubters are just plain wrong. A good one saves SO much time. I know because I literally use it for every project now.

AI is moving fast. It's overwhelming! We feel it too. Every Tuesday in the Create With newsletter we carefully curate the most relevant news, tutorials, events, and information and explain everything in simple, concise terms. We take great pride in it. This is the email we sent out yesterday.

✅ Just added a custom dropdown component to the Bullet Launch boilerplate, much better UX for adding custom items to lists! Available to all the smart, ridiculously good-looking people who own the template 😀

Linear automation = 19 yr old summer intern who does what they're told and no more AI Agent automation = 23 yr old graduate who has some context and willingness to use initiative Hopefully future AI agents will be like a seasoned 40 yr old professional with a family to feed and a mortgage to pay

🎉 I've been toying with this idea for a while now but excited to announce I'm finally doing it! Next month I'll be running the first Bullet Launch Bootcamp - a 4-week programme where I will support a small number of founders in building out their SaaS ideas using Bubble and my boilerplate.

I've always been passionate about helping people to get their SaaS ideas off the ground and this feels like the most high-impact way I can help! The calibre of the applicants and their unique ideas has got me really excited to start 🙂

Their goal is to: 1) build and launch a fully-functional product 2) get their first paying customers ... all by the end of the bootcamp. I'll be supporting them with one-on-one calls and office hours.

Me and @nocodelife.com have just launched Typoro on Product Hunt. 🎉 Typoro started as a simple idea: streamlining LinkedIn content creation. I used to spend ages formatting and editing just to make my posts look good. Now Typoro does it for me. Would ♥️ any support: producthunt.com/posts/typoro

AI chatbots are everywhere so I just added a Chatbot UI to my Bullet Launch boilerplate - complete with dark mode! In the docs I explain how it can be easily used to create an AI chatbot SaaS product for customer support or anything you want.

Did you know that two months ago, Typoro was just an idea? (@nocodelife.com and I have transformed it into a remarkable app since then) Building an app from scratch is just the beginning of the journey.

Did you review your 2024? I was feeling kind of down about mine but on reflection it was way better than I perceived. Over the weekend, I finally sat down to write my NoCode Solopreneur newsletter, the first in a while. I wasn't sure what to write about.

I also noticed how much I missed having a SaaS project to work on. Now, I'm thrilled to be collaborating on two of them. One of them, Typoro, even helped me write this post. That feels good!

So, I ended up reviewing last year and planning for this one. It was surprisingly refreshing to take a moment to reflect. I realised my biggest achievement of 2024 was creating my Bullet Launch boilerplate. That project opened up so many opportunities.

Realising its potential, I reached out to @nocodelife.com Kieran, much more experienced with Bubble, agreed to a 50/50 partnership. He rebuilt PhatPost with his boilerplate BulletLaunch, and we renamed it Typoro. Typoro was born from collaboration and a shared vision.

Ever built something in 20 minutes that changed your path? It all began with a simple Chrome plugin called PhatPost. I created it to improve my writing on LinkedIn.

Happy New Year friends! Hope you had a good one. I spent quite a bit of the down time over Xmas thinking about my plans for 2025 and my longer term strategy. I don't want to rush this process as it's so important to pick the right course. I'm excited to get back to work though.

A downside of AI I'm already experiencing regularly is people assuming everything is easy and discounting human effort. Today I made a funny video for my friend's birthday. I used 4 different AI models including training a custom one on his face, creating music, and then edited it in Final Cut.

Hi Bsky, Advice needed! I have a popup on my boilerplate website which shows when a user has clicked "Get template" so I can collect their details (as the Bubble marketplace doesn't give me any details of who buys my stuff). It then redirects to the marketplace so they can make the purchase.

However a friend just told me they thought it was a newsletter signup. I've tried rewording slightly so it doesn't mention updates and tutorials. Is it okay or still confusing? This is literally the only chance I have to collect some details. Should I remove the name field?

I spent the first 10 years of my career chasing status and competing with my peers. The education system had conditioned me to be like that. It took a long time for me to break free, but I'm far happier now.

Yesterday I went fishing for the first time in my life, not just that but we were on a UK beach and it was dark. The stars were incredible. Also we caught 18 fish in 2 hours! I feel like I’ve completed fishing. Need a new hobby.

+1 for this!

Let's make Bluesky a better place for indie founders. It's a fair criticism that Starter Packs were a great marketing strategy. That once the novelty wears off, Bluesky might go downhill just like Threads. And to prevent that, we need to put effort to nurture the community ↓
