Noah Becker

Like most Eagles fans, I am focused on how the team can get in position to draft a B1G WR. That's right, it's time to home in on Charlie Becker.

I wish I had a better sense of who lied about this first. Did Vic lie about this to Howie or did Howie lie about this to the media? I strongly prefer the former to the latter.

Steve@stevetsra.bsky.social

The only defense I'll give is that I think they thought he might have some Edge capabilities but that obviously hasn't come to fruition. But yeah, as a whole that draft looks about as bad as it gets, I don't know if there is a single player who will earn a 2nd contract with the team. MAYBE Kendall.

I'm absolutely up for ripping the Eagles' 2025 draft because it is still insane that they used a premium pick on an off-ball linebacker.

Putting on a defensive clinic in the Super Bowl and then spending your first 5 picks on defensive players? And none of them are pass rushers? Absolutely nuts.

Deviating from the consensus board to spend a second premium pick on a second player at a non-premium position who also has injury concerns and wasn't even that good in college? Why didn't they let Howie Roseman run the draft?

Everything after the first clause here is too fatalistic which is why the Eagles primary problem is coaching not talent.

Jesus Zoidberg: Meet Me Tonight In Atlantic City@jesuszoidberg.bsky.social

Nick is a goner, and maybe my point is, maybe anyone would have this team 2-5 or 3-4, but it doesn't matter.

"The Eagles don't have enough talent" was a talking point in 2012, 2015, and 2020. The Eagles then won the division in 2013, won the Super Bowl in 2017 and made the Super Bowl in 2022.

Nick doesn't deserve to be fired because of his performance this year, which has merely been inadequate but not horrific. Fortunately, he's deserved to be fired for essentially three years now so it'll be a pretty simple process after the season.

Jalen Carter makes too much money to do this. Riq Woolen is a mercenary who is allowed to go mercenary mode.

Again, this is a continuing trend of institutional failure.

20h

Jalen Carter, you were part of a wholesale failure on the defensive side of the ball while making more money than anyone else who plays on the defense. Take some accountability.

21h

Eagles "RGIII-ing" Saquon here is both irresponsible and insane.

21h

I think this is the thing I'm angriest about. This is the picture of institutional rot.

21h

There are other problems but you are very apparently courting a very serious injury for a de minimis benefit. If the coaching staff can't get him out, the front office needs to.

22h

Lemon has not been good but he's clearly an NFL WR and that didn't feel like a guarantee.

Beautiful Joe Judge tribute.

Christian Parker is going "Billy Davis Mode."

DeSean Jackson and Saquon Barkley both beating Cowboys corners to that specific pylon while obviously hurt is a beautiful bit of heritage.

Christian Parker, you can probably just stay in town.

Hollywood Brown is still waiting for his chance. Could the Eagles’ injuries at receiver open the door Monday night?

I don’t think the Eagles should overreact on their Consensus Board-oriented draft philosophy to the early returns on Makai Lemon being low, considering how weak the class is overall

Two things I like about Jaylen Brown: 1. He plays physically on offense without fouling; and 2. His hair is real and normal.

Cannot believe that the team that built the huge first half lead only to see it slip away and begin throwing a tantrum in the 4th quarter in this Sixers game is not the Sixers.
