Strange. I checked the mail today and found a copy of MIO: Memories in Orbit for #Nintendo #Switch2, but it's the PEGI edition. What is strange is that I never ordered this game. Free is free and I am happy to have a copy but a little miffed where it came from.

I feel like this #Seahawks team is going to use this performance as a reset. They played lights out, even Darnold did well despite one interception! If Sea is back to its SB form, look out.

A couple of captures from the last few days. A dragon fly, perched on one of the last warm days of the year and a sandhill crane, taking off and heading south... #Insect #Bird #Nikon #Wisconsin

Got out before the fog burned off this morning, the dew was heavy but I and was rewarded with this. Two does emerged from the grass, framed perfectly on either side. Shot on #Nikon in #Wisconsin. #NaturePhotography #WildlifePhotography

Crane in the rain... Sandhill Cranes are starting to group up and head south here in NE Wisconsin. Today was a dreary, soggy day; day's like this, still allow for some lovely shots. Shot on #Nikon in #Wisconsin. #Bird

Despite the rain this morning, I attended a bird hike at a local wildlife sanctuary and we stumbled upon a plethora of Black-Crowned Night Herons, including this fella, walking along a branch. It was not until reviewing my photos I noticed the giant spider web... #Bird #Nikon #Wisconsin #Nature

This Cooper's Hawk has been working the area for a few days now, eyeing Song Sparrows and Red-Winged Blackbirds as its menu. Didn't see a catch today, but it was still out there hunting when I walked away. Persistence pays off in nature. #Bird #Nikon #Nature #Wildlife

A Caspian tern executes a dramatic catch along the shore. After tossing its fish skyward, it secures the meal in mid-air and follows with a characteristic shake to clear the water. Captured during a morning walk that turned unexpectedly memorable. #bird #nikon #nature #wisconsin

My lovely wife turns a year older today. I’m lucky to have her in my life and I hope I can continue to be stand beside her as she ages. She is the most incredible, supportive, and kind person I know.

It seems that everywhere I go adventure week, I stumble upon Great Egrets. This evening, was no different. Ended up seeing nearly two dozen along Cat Island, including this trio getting ready for sunset... #Bird #Nature #Nikon #Wildlife

Today I saw well over 50 Great Egrets, 25 Great Blue Herons, 30 Black-Crowned Night Herons & 60 Caspian Terns while the sun broke through the clouds. #Birds #Nikon #Wisconsin #Nature

Went out looking for a Yellow-Crowned Night Heron, which was a total bust; however, I was able to stumble upon this lovely Great Blue Heron perched on a branch just over the water. #Bird #Nikon #Wisconsin #Nature

A bit bummed that Hong didn’t win last night but I must admit that I believe Crowley is the better candidate statewide against Tiffany. Looking forward to another 4 years of Democrat leadership and hoping the senate and assembly follow. #wipolitics #wisconsin

Tried out my spotting scope today & to be honest, I don’t think I’ll use it that much. My camera on tripod is nearly as good if not better due to changing exposure - I’m sure it’ll have its use cases but I think it’ll become mainly a car tool. How are you using your spotting scope while #birding?

I went out this evening hoping to find shore birds, instead, I captured these Great Egrets tucking themselves into bed for the evening. While I was watching these fellas, I saw dozens and dozens more in near-by trees and flying over. #Bird #Nikon #Wildlife

This is incredible

Discovered this amazing mural while running work errands today. For a moment there I actually thought the figure on the ground was a live person touching up the mural. It’s that good (or my glasses are that bad 😂).

Yeah…this is the way to actually have folks represent the people…

A new poll demonstrates that Americans are ready for drastic changes regarding how lawmakers are selected to represent them in Washington, D.C. The poll found a high level of support for the idea of proportional representation, which generally results in more parties being seated.

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a spotting scope for #birding and finally pulled the trigger; living near the shore of Lake Michigan, I am confident I’ll get some excellent use out of it! Hoping to find some shore #birds migrating in the coming days! Do you use spotting scopes?

#Wisconsin, it's time for real change. No more corporate Dems. Fran Hong is running for governor w/ no corp PAC money. Universal childcare, paid leave, funded schools, lower property taxes, saved rural hospitals, reproductive rights w/o compromise. Working class fighter. Vote Hong. #wipolitics

Fun evening lookin' for deer. Saw quite a few bucks, but this fella, along with his girlfriend, was the only one that stood around long enough for photo. #Deer #Nikon #WildlifePhotography #NaturePhotography

While out in my yard this morning, I was hoping to capture Goldfinches hanging out in my Cup Plants. To my surprise, a Hummingbird appeared, I first I thought it was another Bumblebee, but I was able to capture this moment as it went in for a snack... #bird #nikon #wisconsin #naturephotography

Spent the morning at the local wetland and ran into plenty of critters. I especially enjoyed watching this young wood duck swim in a pond filled with various plants. #bird #wisconsin #nikon

That Alex and Antonio Freeman biopic for the #worldcup was great! I grew up watching Antonio on the #packers and I am happy I am able to watch his son play for #usmnt

Fun but tick-filled evening at the local preserve. The lighting was tough in many spots but I was able to sneak on this wood duck and cat bird...I never realized that cat birds actually have whiskers!! #bird #nikon #nature

While in the Smokey Mountains, I encountered dozens of bears; from single boars to sows with cubs and everything in between. Ran into these two while exploring various mountain roads. Shot on #NikonZ8 #Nature #Wildlife

Great Blue Heron going full chaos mode at Green Bay West Shores this evening. Fish in the bill, water everywhere, wings barely clearing the surface. One of those moments you don't really process until you get home and look at the frames. #GreatBlueHeron #Birds #WildWisconsin #WildlifePhotography

Such a lovely experience capturing this moment. Saw various cedar waxwings foraging berries and swallowing them whole. #nikon #bird #naturephotography #wisconsin

Ran into this American White Pelican just after sunrise at a local preserve this morning... that reflection on the still water was something else. These birds pass through Wisconsin and it's always a good day when you cross paths with one. #Birds #Nikon #Wisconsin

Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve this morning. Warblers everywhere. Blackburnian & Palm both showed up… migration is moving through. That Blackburnian orange is hard to prepare for. Some mornings you don't want to get up. Then this happens and you remember why you do. #Bird #WildWisconsin

Two Blue-gray Gnatcatchers building their nest at sunset. One hauling materials in, one inside weaving it together. Watched them work back and forth for a while. Tiny birds, serious work. #Bird #Nikon #Wisconsin

Oh boy; Officially moving over to #Nikon - Sold my #Fujifilm setup and I am not a prouder owner of the Z8, pairing it with Nikkor 180-600mm lens. Scared of the size increase, excited for the AF and Low-Light gains!
