Eden Marie

Hi! I don't know if I count, but here goes. I'm Eden, I've been at Xbox for 13 years, and I run a team that owns a large swath of the console experience. I probably removed that feature you liked, and I'm probably sorry about it. Glad to meet all of you on Bluesky!

Apparently I am now "broke my tooth because I ate some crusty bread" years old

Okay, this is definitely going to be embarrassing for a bit as I actually work through the backlog.

Finally finished Starfield!

Hey XBOX Insiders, a note: During the testing period, fixes in how we calculate the total number of Mythic Achievements may cause your unlock count to change. Thanks for your continued feedback!

Let me know what the first Mythic Achievement you unlock after the update is!

Hey XBOX, this should now be available to everyone, not just Insiders! You may need to restart your console to get the new functionality.

Mythic Achievements should now be available to all Alpha, Alpha Skip-Ahead, and Beta XBOX Insiders. For Beta, you'll need to make sure you get the update to the new build today. For other rings, you may need to reboot.

Alpha, Alpha Skip-Ahead, and Beta later today, as well as for PC Gaming Preview Insiders.

If you ever doubt how much your team's been doing

Kit Kat of the week: Hazel-Nutty. This is from Australia and it's very much like every other hazelnut Kit Kat I've had except it does have nice but tiny bits of actual hazelnut in the cream layer. The Chunky size gives it a lot of extra chocolate, which is always nice.

THE CLANS HEIR IS A TRANS WOMAN (2013) is like Steven Seagal decided to Write/Direct/Star in a love letter to his trans friends, but it looks and feels like every action movie he's made... except Hitoshi Ozawa is way way way way cooler than Seagal.

This wait to play Control Resonant until October 15 because I ordered it on disc…

Hey XBOX Beta Insiders, big lore drop today.

Hey XBOX, the issues affecting achievement completion percentage and displayed total achievement count for certain older games should be fixed now.

A few disc to digital testing updates for XBOX Insiders:

My birthday this year is also XBOX's 25th birthday. How should I celebrate??

Hey XBOX Insiders, if you've had issues with the Alan Wake II Deluxe Edition not giving you the deluxe edition content after claiming the digital license, we've fixed this issue. You'll need to reclaim the disc, though (either by replaying while inserted or claiming manually).

Coming back to Starfield after a long break. Still a lot of fun. Finally making the SysDef/Crimson Fleet decision I’d been avoiding. Wish the Ship Builder wasn’t still so broken.

Hey XBOX Insiders, if you've had issues with the Halo Infinite disc only letting you play multiplayer after claiming the digital license, we believe we've fixed this issue. You'll need to reclaim the disc, though (either by replaying while inserted or claiming manually).

Hey XBOX Insiders: in case it helps, here's a link to the "Disc to Digital Licensing on XBOX" support article that should hopefully help answer your questions. We'll be updating the page for clarity as Insider testing continues.

Risks of the job: too many people at work now know I have multple Let's Sing games and My Little Riding Champion on disc

Now watching

Very polite

What have I stepped into

I know it's been a slow XBOX news day 😅, but the handful of you who care and kept on me about this for years might be happy to hear that Forza Horizon 2 (XBOX 360) now correctly shows up in your achievement history. Yes, I played recently just to test it! Ignore the low score.

Hey XBOX Insiders, can't wait for you to try this out next week!

This should be available again!

Hey XBOX Insiders, just a note that we've temporarily disabled the "Remove from this list" feature that went out today, to fix some reported bugs. We'll get it re-enabled with the next build!

Hey XBOX Insiders, some (hopefully) fun things coming today. Read about it here:

Just watched someone finish Trespasser on her Solavellan Dragon Age Inquisition playthrough. Heartbroken all over again. 😭

Actual problems.

Hey XBOX, if you wanted to know more about the August console update that started going out to users today, here's a link to the release notes:

Anyone hit 1000 games in their wishlist yet?

A minor item in today's Alpha Skip-Ahead notes: "We've made improvements to the way titles are sorted alphabetically in your library." These are fixes we made for achievement sorts but you should see better sorting in My games & apps, particularly within franchises. Old/New:
