We’ve been struggling with this a bit getting people out of thinking their account is a bsky account - it’s stopping people from committing to other clients or exploring other services.

Urgh, had to delete a post – nothing worse than a bunch of boomers claiming something is easy from their ivory-towered suburban existence where money, free time, and free space are abundant. “Why don’t you just do this, it’s ‘easy’?” The crass, blinkered worldview is wild.

It is fascinating to see where land has been re-wilded just how much more resilient that land is to both flood and drought. And even here in the heart of the city how little interventions like wildflower planters have been ALIVE with bees and other insects all year. We lose nothing doing this.

We need to calm the flood-drought climate whiplash 🌦️ In the national conversation around climate resilience, Britain’s water crisis is almost always framed as two separate emergencies.  [Continued👇] Images: [1]-Cerib/Adobe Stock, [2]-Andee/Pexels/Canva

This whole statement is incredibly damning but gosh this part especially. Very much worth reading.

The current dilemma for most creatives now is that you need to share work online for your business to survive but if you do, it will immediately be stolen and replicated by AI and it's quite possible your business won't survive that

At the risk of enraging her bizarre parasocial lunatic fans. I’m not gonna mention her - but fucking hell her music is everything that’s wrong with the world, anodyne, forgettable, psychotically commercial, manufactured for the zero attention span generation.

The lessons from Brazil and Serbia? Don't concede one inch of ground to the far right. Don't appease. Don't triangulate. Don't grovel. Don't say they have "legitimate concerns". Mobilise your base, and fight them with all the democratic means at your disposal.

There's a reason they're strapping cameras to the heads of factory workers... they can get away with that. Don’t let them strap a camera on your head just by asking nicely.

Just a heads up, when meta or other big tech starts advertising heavily to creatives to "show your process" they're data hunting - they want to train on your data so that when their ai 'shows its process' it'll be based in reality. Your reality.

No further explanation will be given.

Some genuinely hopeful shifts away from the far right this morning. That’s good news for all of us.

And bravo Serbia 🇷🇸

Bravo Brazil! 🇧🇷

Been reading about a lot of very bad but entirely ordinary people throughout history for the next season of Past Lives (Everyday Villains). This guy is utterly typical. 1) Doesn't think he's doing anything wrong. 2) Permission structure in a system of hierarchical authority. 3) Benefits materially.

Before we start: 1) we know it's shit... 2) please don't suggest switching to another product it's not that easy when you're a professional working with multiple clients on multiple project... BUT: anyone having serious crashes with the current version of creative suite - premiere/audition esp.

I feel like a riot in Barcelona big enough for 100 people to end up being arrested really ought to have made it into more UK news outlets? euroweeklynews.com/2026/10/24/l...

Storms a comin'. #London #StormAustin #Sunset #Photography #Photographer #ECK

I'm not sure the pier has another winter in it; more collapsed quite dramatically today, and with more storms inbound this winter, these losses to structural members start to become properly cumulative. #Brighton #Pier #WildWeather #StormAusten

I don’t get why so many of you follow these 40k+ accounts that just chuck out political memes. So they liked a few of your posts the second they followed you? But after, they’ve never interacted with you again. They’re propaganda bots, regardless of whether it’s a view you agree with.

A local gem, a great little pub with good food, which also happens to be - in my humble opinion at least - one of the prettiest pubs in London. #Photography #Architcture #London

Winter colors are starting to make themselves apparent in London as the daylight slips away. The beautiful abandoned piers of the old Blackfriars Bridge march across the river in file. #London #Photography #LondonHistory #ECK

I simply cannot understand why in the 21st century having said we would ban this practice for years we would choose to lose an hour of daylight in the afternoon. Put us on CET full time.

They are erasing lgbtq people and you have to start questioning why.

This is why so many in my generation look around at old age knowing that the second most of us lose the ability to work life for most will get deeply grim. There is no safety net for most. Many talk about quick ways out should infirmity make life hard.

So far it's damp and gloomy here, but fairly calm inland - I know it's been a wild and wooly one out on the west coast though, so we'll see what's still inbound later today. #StormAusten #London

Feeling a bit more festive now with some autumnal bits and pieces making the increasingly dark nights and dark mornings a little more pleasant.

Hard to see this as anything else but strong arming the consumer into not being able to buy physical media.

Tom Skerritt – an iconic star known for Alien, MASH, Top Gun, and much more – has sadly passed away at the age of 93. 🕊️ Read More: bit.ly/4yzkbrO

I hate how so much of club life now has become ticketed. I just wanna pay on the door a fairly efficient door without having to make plans; as my adhd brain can’t get excited about a ticketed night clubbing in the same way it does about a gig or an exhibit.

More utter nonsense from Wes Streeting. The government going to step in and give us all rent decreases so we can afford the extra room all these emergency supplies are going to take up?
