youtu.be/5GLCDSn-RF4 new video! something different compared to what i normally do - i actually read one of my own notes! this one was very popular on stream and a lot of people asked me to post it to yt, so lmk if you like it and wanna see more stuff like it!

My Streamer is GOATed at the ethno -dle and I don't know if that's a good thing 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

youtu.be/K1DRsR8DB4c new video! i did the 12axes meme and i have strong opinions like every other person who did it and did not get their preferred result

u and me both lenin !

youtu.be/gNzs-4xh1SA new video! im very proud of this video both for it covering one of gramscis biggest contributions to political theory and philosophy, but also for how much i was able to help break it down and make the ideas a lil more digestible for modern times. please check this one out!

Rocket decided she was going to make an appearance on stream today

thank you gramsci

youtu.be/yYerNnx4Pbc new video! this one is mostly to aid people who want to get back in the habit of reading stuff again, but struggle to do so. i wanna make more videos like this from now on, so pls support if you like it. much love ♥

Romolla had the idea to try something different and do a more structured, scripted video style and we worked over the weekend to create this and I'm super happy with it. Please consider giving it a look and letting us know what you think of this type of video!

youtu.be/knJhYASboZE new video! another fave of mine by gramsci, about who is an intellectual, and what the function of an intellectual is. highly recommend this one for getting a good glimpse into how gramsci thinks (and why i particularly love his analysis!)

I don't know if anyone else has posted this yet, but sweetxjam passed away this weekend. If y'all could give something to the gfm for his family that would be great. www.gofundme.com/f/in-loving-...

read this parenti article and it felt like my past and future truly clashed

Lot of important political analysis going on at the @romolla.bsky.social stream today

Rocket

spittin' some theory in new ways 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

youtu.be/tKQO2_fjIgY new video! on the initial reforms about sexuality, womens rights, and childrens rights in the RSFSR. when you realize this pamphlet is 101 years old but sounds more modern than actual political discourse on these subjects nowadays, it hits a v particular way!

Rocket

the MGS4 playthrough has been going well 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

I think @romolla.bsky.social found a good solution for this

This is what happens when I stare at a video project for too long 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

she can't resist @romolla.bsky.social

L'Ordine Nuovo, 30 August 1921 - The Grimace of Gwynplaine gramsci on cops when they raided the newspaper that he worked for. i think about this very often lmao

youtu.be/GqKF80rJ2yU new video! i loved talking about this on stream and getting other people's thoughts on it. the core of it as a reflection on leftist tendencies is definitely worth thinking about, and i think the essay is also a great glimpse into the post-USSR dissolution mindset from leftists

Once again, thinking about this today

youtu.be/3QG81USHFKA new main channel video! i LOVED this. this is my avengers

An interesting tactic for dealing with backseating 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

Rocket has been getting up to some antics 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

Streamer vs Captcha 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

youtu.be/A13x4Zw6n0M new video! i love this one for seeing marx and engel's perspectives on the american labour movement for the time, but also how they dunk on henry george

Rocket

I have a lot of personal highlights from this interview, but getting to ask "When's Foucault?" is definitely at the top of my interviewer bucket list.

youtu.be/74uNWp21AhQ new video! one of lenins best works with regards to analyzing marxist strategies and tactics for his day. a lot of these things he discusses are still relevant and worth thinking about today. "short lil pamphlet" i say before reading 115 pages of this

"Q&A: Romolla, from cow VTuber Evo champ to prison abolitionist historian and Antonio Gramsci's #1 Fan" I got to catch up with Best Xrd Sol NA @romolla.bsky.social about her time in fighting games, how to play Sol, and her passion for teaching political theory. www.patreon.com/pattheflip/p...

the WWE knew EXACTLY who their demographic was 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

Rocket

youtu.be/efJi0VY5GnQ new video! focusing mostly on the analysis of Gramsci and Lenin on anarchists. Lenin's opinions on anarchists are very well known by this point, but Gramsci's is particularly noteworthy and interesting for the way he approaches it.

the Romolla stream experience 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

youtu.be/0LO5qrckFvM new video! i go over walter rodney's analysis of the partition of africa. love this one a ton. huge recommendation if youre an enjoyer of lenins work on imperialism

She's right 📺: @romolla.bsky.social

youtu.be/gYVsShQWzU8 new video! everyones saying the line nowadays, and for very good reasons considering how good his analysis is!!!

Watched this today because I missed a chunk of this stream. It just reinforced my desire to one day move into the education world, specifically teaching archaeology and lab work. Krupskaya puts into words a lot of the general thoughts I have about how I'd teach but better than I ever could. Queen!

youtu.be/Wba-o0y8NVQ new video! nadezhda krupskaya was a major influence on the soviet education system, and her work inspired a lot of my own views on learning and educating. really happy to share this one!!!
