I’m almost done working on my part of a collab with my friend @naritacoree.art!! I just gotta add those trademark AWD ears and this base will be off to her to finish up!! 😁🩵 In addition to making and lining the base, I have also made the handpaws and eyelids for this premade!! 🩵

I've been really socially tired lately. I'm really just ready for the busy season to end. The busy season has been on going since 2024 though- every time I think there's an end to it in site it keeps going. I'm really hoping after Kumoricon will be it tho. Cause I'm struggling to keep up

Yesterday was our 3rd anniversary!! Though we'll have been together for 11 years in January!! Time is so crazy cause it does not feel like we've been together for a third of our lives 😵‍💫

Mountain mugs came out of glaze fire so pretty!!!! I'm so happy with how the orange and blue reacted- I feel like the texture looks like distant trees on a mountain side 💚🌲 #ceramics #pnwartist #pnw

Worked on a new color wheel display for my classroom today! The ones I printed last year have faded already so I figured it's time to make some that wont fade as easily! Better yet- they use paint the kids will also be using so it'll be easier for them to get an idea of what to mix to get what!

We didn't always see eye to eye on things, but at the end of the day we where still friends. I've been trying to figure out how to word this for the past few days and as a community we've been sharing memories in the VFD chat, but Texi is no longer with us. #furry

When I first moved back to the PNW she invited me to the CascadiaFurs mod team, I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with her hosting meets though we both ended up leaving the team. Its hard to come to terms with the fact that I'll never see her again.

Cloudtail accidentally went through a wash and dry 😭 his floofy tail is no longer floof so he belongs to Chickadee now But that's ok because she loves and will protect him from further washer related harm #warriorcats #doggo #plushie

First day back at work after missing the first few days on bereavement leave. One of the kiddos from last year ran up and hugged me with tears in her eyes as soon as she saw I was there 🥺 it feels so nice to know I was missed

This job is usually a great stepping stone for those finishing education degrees, it's part time, great starting pay. But usually once folks graduate they move on. I'm extremely fortunate that doing a couple cons a year is enough to make it so I can afford to stay because I love it here.

One of the kids asked why I was gone again, said "don't tell me someone else died" I said. "You're not gonna beleive me, but my Grandpa/Dad's dad passed" Her response was "I'd be so pissed if my dad outlived me only to die right after" You know what, my dad probably would be too 😅

I've told them so many times I have no plans to leave in the next 5 years at least, but this job is so high turnover that the kids are so used to people quitting without notice that they don't believe me.

Had a very pleasant hike up through McDowell Creek Park to see the various falls yesterday after my grandpa's funeral. We used to go swimming here when I was a kid, and when my dad was young his eagle scout project was to pave the paths with gravel.
