Brewers are 1 win away from a World Series, and I have to ask, because I just thought about it. When was the last time the World Series winner had the current top prospect in baseball in their organization? Talk about being set for the present AND the future.

I just realized, I'm not sure I want the Brewers to win the World Series. Because, after the Thunder won the NBA Finals last year, that would mean back to back years where a franchise that left Seattle wins a championship. At least the Seahawks got their ring 🤷‍♂️

RIP RJ Mitte. Everyone, look after each other, and please remember you are loved, no matter how hard that may be to remember.

I've said it once, I'll say it again. If you use AI in your activism, then you don't actually care, because you don't feel it's worth the time to put in the effort.

The Arizona Diamondbacks, who were two games out of the playoffs in the NL, would've gotten a first-round bye if they played in the AL. Wild.

If the Seahawks start the season 10-0, they will have gone a full year without losing a football game. If the Colts start the season 0-9, they will have gone a full year without winning a football game.

If the Seahawks start the season 10-0, they will have gone a full year without losing a football game. If the Colts start the season 0-9, they will have gone a full year without winning a football game.

There's about a 3% chance according to ESPN's matchup predictions that the Seahawks start 10-0, and about a 1% chance that the Colts start 0-9. Therefore, there is about a 0.03% chance that we see a team go a whole year without losing AND a team go a whole year without winning, near simultaneously.

The Seattle Seahawks are just as good this year as they were last year. And with the Rams underperforming heavily last week against an injured 49ers team, I think it's fair to put them right back where they belong as one of the favorites to win it all.

The first MLB game I've gone to in 9 years and my team let an opposing starter with an ERA over 6 give them 7 scoreless. #firedanwilson

Jeffrey Springs tosses 7 shutout innings and the @Athletics win in Seattle!

At least we scored this time? 😭 I'm going to a game in two weeks, my first Mariners game in 9 years. If ts happens then, imma crash out bro 😂

Today I realized that X-Pac is the only major member of Degeneration-X to never win the Intercontinental Title. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chyna, Rick Rude, Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn all won the title at one point or another.

Realized today that the last 4 Eastern Conference Champions made the Eastern Conference Finals the year prior aswell, but lost. If this pattern continues, the Cavaliers will make the NBA Finals in 2027, perhaps all the more reason for LeBron to return home. 👀

Came into the season with a career high FRV of -3 btw. Currently sits at 9 FRV this season, in the 98th percentile of players.

My personal theory is that this post single-handedly made fate choose the Knicks. Telling that the only game the Knicks lost was the one that Trump, a Knicks "fan", attended.

WTF. Is this what we’re all gonna have to deal with for the next week? Can every politician take a two week sabbatical—or just stay the hell away from the NBA Finals and let us all just enjoy it?

The only team in the American League that currently has a positive W-L against teams at .500 or better is the Texas Rangers, who are 19-14 against such teams, and are somehow 16-25 against teams under .500 😂 wild

A picture taken from Search and Rescue of Ground Zero after 9/11. Three clocks stopped at 9:59 am EST, the exact time the South Tower collapsed. Haunting.

Republicans act like they are in the majority so often even though they've only won two presidential popular votes since 1990.

Swept by a team with a losing record and then winning a series against the team with the best record in the MLB, what are the 2026 Mariners even about?

Also, the last place team in the NL Central has a better record than the first place team in both the AL Central and AL West.

Hoping to get a new Deadlock Sync out soon. Wanted to get it out by today but I'm dealing with some issues. This comment from a viewer of my first sync is a hint at what's coming!

If you measure performance in the clutch vs. usual performance, Leo Rivas may be the most clutch player in baseball. Below average hitter until the 9th inning, when he turns into Ted Williams.

The Seattle Mariners: 2020: Miss the playoffs by 2 games 2021: Miss the playoffs by 2 games (better record than the WS Champs) 2022: Swept by division rival who goes on to win World Series 2023: Miss the playoffs by 1 game 2024: Miss the playoffs by 1 game 2025: Miss the World Series by 1 game 🫩

That was a disgusting loss. An really rough showing by Munoz, and we need to start putting Dom and Luke in the corners and DHing Randy. He's a known liability in the field and that last play just proved it.

Disappointing of the Athletic to blatantly spread misinformation like this. This statue has been up at Globe Life Field for a month and a half. It was NOT unveiled today on Jackie Robinson Day as this article implies. Still disgusting for the Rangers to have this statue, but also weird to lie.

The Athletic@theathletic.com

The Texas Rangers have unveiled a controversial new statue modeled after Jay Banks, a former Texas law enforcement officer known for enforcing school segregation. The unveiling preceded the MLB’s celebration of Jackie Robinson Day, which commemorates the first African American MLB player.

Cal Raleigh, Julio Rodriguez, and Josh Naylor? Nah, gimme Brendan Donovan, Luke Raley, and Dom Canzone 🔥 Nah but fr, when Raleigh, JRod, and Naylor get going, this team is gonna be sweet.
