TIL MusicBrainz Picard's `subtitle` tag is written to ID3's TIT3 frame, which is handy for all sorts of parenthetical song details: many clients show next to the track name. Until now I thought it was a synonym for `discsubtitle` — nope! #MusicBrainz #MusicBrainzPicard

if you ever find yourself filling writing credits etc in a musicbrainz entry for an LP record then you must know that "Add relationships" tab on release page supports bulk-creating works for all recordings

We are aware of current issues with the MusicBrainz search. This affects anything that utlises the search (/ws/2/query?), including Picard and other third-party applications. For a change, we don’t think this is related to scraping! Thank you very much for your kindness and patience. -a

Update: The search cluster is stable again, but we will be limiting traffic for a short while while we monitor it. You should be able to use search (and external apps) again now, with a little bit of extra patience during times of high load. -a

Update: ListenBrainz is currently under attack from multiple distributed botnets. We are doing our best to mitigate it, but (as almost always) they use masses of residential IPs, many UAs, and are almost impossible to block without also blocking legitmate users. Thank you for bearing with us! -a
