Updated list of games I’m slowly working my way through (or play on my phone). Pokopia, Pokemon LeafGreen, Pokemon ZA, Clair Obscur, FF7R2, DQ3 and 11, MGSΔ, FF6 PR, and MARVEL SNAP My upcoming/recent releases wishlist games include Control Resonant, FF Tactics, DQ7, DQ1/2, Yotei

That moment when you plug in your Govee lights from last year and they won’t power on, and you’re getting frustrated and think they’re defective and cursing because surely they’re right outside the warranty timeframe, then you realize the power cord has two connections and it’s just unplugged 🤦‍♂️

If you’re going to make an infographic with a sliding color scale, if you have to scroll a long ways to see the key and the colors are barely different, please rethink your choices. I’m looking at CNNs new El Niño map. My area will get somewhere between 0- 65% less snow. Can’t tell specifically 🤬

Wow. This is so stupid. It won’t actually help weed out many of the ones abusing it, and it’s going to drive legit users crazy. I can’t wait for my kids to have to scan my phone weekly to use what we pay for. Great idea Spotify.

Spotify’s co-CEO said it will keep tweaking verification as people ‘find holes around’ methods like its new QR codes over time. www.theverge.com/entertainmen...

That moment when you are in the wrong zoom meeting because you used the phone number instead of the meeting code. Seems like a bad design choice to allow both to be the same length.

It’s amazing how much damage a single post from an imposter Instagram account can cause an organization, and it’s amazing how little Instagram cares about it. I’ve always heard stories like these and they sounded horrible, but to be someone cleaning up one of these situations now? This truly sucks.

Sometimes I feel like ChatGPT thinks its Karan Soni's character Bennie from Ghostbusters 2016. I want wonton soup. One wonton in 2 cups of broth isn't what I want. Nor is wontons crammed into a 2 cup container. I just want what a normal amount would be.

For years, I’ve tried to get my eldest daughter to watch MCU movies with me. In the last week, she suddenly had interest. We binged a bunch (and skipped a bunch) to get through Infinity War last night, and saw #avengers #endgame today. It was so cool getting to share that with my kid 😁

Holy crap I can’t believe how bad Roblox support is. I’ve got a gift card that won’t activate, so they send you to a portal to contact them. You have to attach receipt images but there’s no way to do so on the form. It then directs you to their AI bot.

The bot asks for the images. Theres no way to attach images here either. I ask how and it says “I can’t receive images, you need to contact support” You are the support… “Oh, you’re right, I am. Let me create a ticket so a human can assist you” 🤦‍♂️

The first part of this headline seems like it could apply to a lot of industries outside of gaming “Japanese Studios Have ‘Staff Retention Of 97 Percent’ Because They Pay Executives Less And Avoided Getting ‘Swept Up In The Live-Service Trend,’ Says Expert”

kotaku.comJapanese Studios Have ‘Staff Retention Of 97 Percent' Says ExpertAccording to Amir Satvat, who runs ASGC’s Games Industry Layoffs Tracker, Japanese studios are prone to doing weird stuff like not over-hiring and producing sure-fire hits based on popular IPs

That moment when you block a spammer from your work email then look at your phone and see LinkedIn emailing you saying they want to connect 🤦‍♂️

I found a kitten outside my house at 2 in the morning, tiny, eyes closed, hours old, bottle fed her, everything. Emergency vet said she wouldn’t last a week. Now here she is getting her 18 year checkup. She’s got an upper respiratory infection, but is otherwise appears really healthy.

My daughter in band for the third year: “dad, what note is this right after the B?” I just stand there with my eye twitching, wondering how it can’t be obvious it’s the letter that comes before B…

Make this make sense. My daughter’s school is having student council elections. If you run, you should make a campaign poster about you. However, when voting, you’re voting on an anonymous campaign speech. What’s the point of the posters then?

That moment when the universe tells you with every single choice you make to do something else but you don’t listen and end up stranded at Walmart at 11 at night watching a lady break into her own car (I think) while her son rides around the parking lot on a new bike.

It drives me crazy every time I look at my children's school app, if you OWE money the amount is black and positive, if you have a credit, it's red and positive. Every single time I check it I have to figure out why I owe money (when I don't). UI/UX matters!

I’m a few minutes into the #gta6 preview on Netflix and so far it’s impressive. Noticed some framerate drops so I’m glad they’re showing real footage.

If you’re going to keep renaming lakes and gulfs and whatnot, could you just do it all at once? How much money is wasted updating this stuff multiple times, especially when the names will be reverted in two years?

First #survivor kills off the podcast, now for #survivor51 they’ve killed off the preseason interviews. Why are they do this to us?

No, just no

Bought an item off Amazon with the one-two week shipping to get the $1 savings. Ordered it 16 hours ago, it’s out for delivery. 🤦‍♂️

I might have even stuck around if it wasn’t for that kind of thing. It started sending me push notifications for rage bait but worded like it was from someone I followed, no way to turn it off without turning push off altogether, so I went Strongbad on it and DUHLEETED

Self checkout fun: “You didn’t scan this item” *Shows me a video of me picking up the limes off the scale and next to it it shows the last item entered was limes.*

8 self checkous, 2 employees manning them, one person in self checkout, and the actual register lines are long. Why not just move those people to registers? Every study has shown you’re losing money on self checkout, and consumers HATE it. And we hate it because of “please place the item in the bag”
