After paying for black mold removal, replacing floorboards, creating a trap door, and installing a crawlspace dehumidifier, and now replacing my barn tin roof, what happens to that tree is up to Mother Nature.

I’m very sad about my pecan tree. It is not dead yet, but once it shows symptoms of this pecan tree disease, evidently nothing can be done. It’s a tragedy because it’s an old very large tree.

Same people who think my reverse situation was justified. At this point though, it’s truly mutual.

While I think the “flying car” stunt is ludicrous, I do not want to downplay the safety risks of the Roadster. I’ve seen some people emphasize the risk to drivers, but these cars risk public safety too.

Absolutely bonkers terms for ordering a car.

I think the stock price popping though is an indication that there’s serious doubts about delivering an actual product. Deeply unserious company.

It will not depend on your jurisdiction. Now for the roadster itself, the thrust model where thrusters in the back propel the car could be dangerous. I’d hate to see a rear end collision with that tank.

He even said if safety is your top priority, don’t buy the Roadster. He compared it to a Ferrari. Drivers can evaluate different priorities. But the CEO of a car manufacturer saying that is insane.

Unless you are a pilot or astronaut you also will not be used to how that kind of force impacts your body or techniques to use to reduce that risk and adjust.

It is notable too that Musk said that this car will be on the roads, but then said depending on your jurisdiction. But the pre-order site states they are not street legal.

Also, the thruster design makes it blasting up incredibly loud. It would be audible to others and distracting. Obviously being distracted around a vehicle, particularly one blasting in the air is dangerous.

Humans are not made for suddenly blasting up into the air without specialized restraints. You could get whiplash and neck and head injuries. There’s a reason astronauts are strapped the hell in at takeoff and have head and neck support.

I will start with the obvious risks of the rocket boosters. These cold gas thrusters blasting concentrated air would obviously loosen debris and scatter that debris outwards. That debris has to go somewhere. So it could easily injure someone.

That Tesla Roadster is not a flying car. Bitch, call the circus.
