I'm seeing right-wingers call Trump out. I don't for a second believe that they're saying something they didn't know and believe a year ago. It's just become advantageous to say so, but it's not just the newest grift, it's the newest political strategy of the people they work for.

I woke up, did my usual thing and scrolled my feed. Saw a funny post and thought to myself: "Imagine posting that on April the 1st" and then "Oh shit, that's probably real tho." and finally realized this is what I think every day. We're now living April the 1st forever.

So... An account named "1789 Capital" earned money from the war on Polymarket. On August 7th 1789, The Department of War was founded. Does someone in Trump's DoW own 1789 Capital? We may never know, but I can't stop thinking about it. I fucking hate this timeline.

I think I've cracked it. I think I figured out why libs are losing their minds over _that thing that happened_. They're taking liberalism to its logical endpoint, which is that atrocities happen because of logical, not moral, failings. 1/

Libs are just so stuck on the cooperative principle that they don't know what to do when it's weaponized against them. And so we get "politics understanders" who defend authoritarians that are trying to destroy democracy. This is how it dies, with the complicity of liberal elites. 3/end

In their minds, democracy succeeds even if fascists win, because - in their minds - fascists just argued better. They did liberalism better. But in fact, fascists LIE, because they know they don't have the facts. And it's funny to see libs choke on their own stupidity.

You can condemn political violence, and you should. But don't expect "standing with the Kirk family" to earn you any solidarity from the right the next time a lib or Dem gets attacked. The right's been itching to do political violence for a decade, and they're not going to want to stop now.

Scared of the Epstein files coming out, because this administration could just cross out names with with pencil and Trump voters would just go "WHAT COULD IT MEAN?!" Or it could be a hand-written note saying "Bill Clinton and no one else." and they'd go "Take that, libs!"

If you think what's being done to immigrants in the US is good, you're wrong, but also a fool. Immigrants are an easy target, but by no means the end of a list. The working class are also on that list when it comes time to cut labor costs, ie. wages, healthcare, etc. Your rights have been cancelled.

Jesus. Of all the stupid things so far, this is the stupidest. We're less than 5% into this presidency, and it's only gonna get worse as the ground beneath them crumbles, and they brainstorm dumber and dumber distractions. www.fox9.com/news/house-j...

Remember, hopelessness and nihilism don't exist in a void. Capitalism and fascism use both as a marketing tool. If we want to defeat either, we need perhaps the most revolutionary weapon of all: hope. We matter. Our action matters. Even a small victory matters, and it adds up when we work together.

Years ago, a Pakistani exchange student told me that over there, milk cartons can be half-filled with sand, because you can sell more cartons that way. That's what a total lack of regulation looks like. You might not know it's there, but you'll really notice it when it's gone.

It's kinda funny that Elon wants to be loved, but when he'd have to spend his money and influence on something genuinely good, he becomes Gollum. At that point, it might be fair to say that he loves money more than he loves himself.

Talking about how nonsensical Trump's decrees are is a waste of time. His people breaking his own rules is not an oversight or by accident. It's a power move. They're blatantly telling you "Rules for thee, but not for me." It's a red herring MSM will happily choke on. You don't have to.

Sooo... Cops are about to learn that if they were to be assaulted, a MAGA hat is a get out of jail free card. So what happens if they have to uphold the law against the unprosecutable? Who the fuck knows. We're in uncharted waters filled with armed sharks, hungry for blood.

Other cars are better than Tesla, whose stock value is much higher. To investors, Tesla is more than a product; it's an idea, a promise of Star Trek+Matrix marketed by its idiot CEO. It's speculation. That's why undelivered promises don't matter, like a more ambitious Star Citizen with less content.

Call me crazy, but Luigi getting support from the left and the right scares me. You can have the feelings you have about what happens to CEOs of healthcare insurance companies, but taking the leap to idolize a right-wing freak smells like a poison fruit to me.

You are up to date.
