Morag Perkins

Hello! 👋 A (re)introduction for those who don't already know me: I'm a photographer, I live in Glasgow and I produce work that looks something like this 👇 You can find more about me, including links to interviews and exhibitions at www.moragperkinsphoto.com

Minolta SRT…how about Minolta HRT

Look! Jason has arrived! If you have missed #Filmtober it is finally here #BelieveInFilm

(The top left hole has two pigeons) #critterposting

Found some old negatives in a box of camera stuff I was given. Check these airplanes out. #believeinfilm

I had to go look this one up to confirm and...yes it's real I didn't even realise there still were Romanovs, let alone one willing to be handcuffed to (checks notes) DJ Fat Tony for a TV show Katie Price and Suella Braverman is also extremely WTF

In doing this I have almost certainly ensured that those guys in China do *not* in fact succeed in bringing back Polaroid pack film. Sorry about that folks, my bad 😬

Every time someone links to this film, I have to repost it. It's one of the most significant bits of British 20th century art. Everything about it is incredible. Groundbreaking music production by Daphne Oram. Amazing camera work by Wolfgang Suschitzky (who later filmed Get Carter).-

So this makes me think it's time to pick up a Hasselblad Polaroid back while they're still cheap, just in case 🤞 ...anything I should know about which one to look for? I don't really know my way around Polaroid peel apart film so I want to make sure I get one which will be compatible

Solitude - half frame photograph printed onto archive paper. The photograph was made using my Pentax 17 and Ilford HP5 developed with DD-X. It is currently winging its way to Australia for #postcardsfromafar #believeinfilm #HFF #printyourwork #filmphotography #lakedistrict

Ahh brilliant look who my September postcard came from! They must have crossed over as they travelled the world 😊 Thank you Kim, this was a cheering little package to get in the post this morning ❤️ #PostcardsFromAfar

It’s official, not even being the Actual Pope is enough to get you out of family tech support duty

A gem at the county fair art show. 🎨

So obviously it's an advertising gimmick and all that but also...I kind of unironically love her

I got the shot. I've been scheming and hoping the conditions would work out for this for two weeks!! 🪶

Look who @tubemapper.bsky.social met!

UK transit nerds are next level.

Anybody want to get into cricket, but with more than the usual number of volcanoes? 🌋 I have enough of a Sigur Rós obsession to type the accent on the ‘o’ and have a favourite 8-minute untitled crescendo if that counts

Museums pro tip: Want to know if there's a bat flying around your galleries? Simply listen to all the visitors saying "there is a bat flying around the galleries."

Incredible John Polaroid: We've got this collaboration with Pokemon, but we need to figure out how to sell it. What's a demographic that likes Pokemon, the visual arts and our brand of kitschy retro tech? The one trans woman in the room: *raises hand*

Whoops there went my notifications 😆 I blame @gregpak.net. It's usually Greg.

Prepare yourself for the Shitty Camera endgame. I present to you the.... ANDY WARHOLga Four Holga 120Ns loaded with Lomo Metropolis, each with a different colored filter, all rigged up to shutter release cables. #Lomography #ShittyCameraChallenge #FilmPhotography #Holga

Just overheard in airport security: "Oi Paul - look! It's another bloody colander!" My work is done.

For those who are not film camera nerds - what y’all need to appreciate is that this kitten photo was taken with a camera that looks like this: camera-wiki.org/wiki/Bender_... The negative will be almost as big as she is

Solitude - half frame photograph printed onto mulberry paper. The photograph was made using my Pentax 17 and Ilford FP4 developed with DD-X. #believeinfilm #lakedistrict
