I resent the term "replygirl" because it implies that's all I do. I never shut the fuck up on my own posts, either. Saying I only do replies is reductive of all the other useless bullshit I say without expecting anyone to hear it

I think women on here need to learn that being a pathetic victim-in-waiting with no survival instinct is only hot if it's not actually true.

If you love your dog, you will abuse it. That is the best way to show your care for an animal domesticated for service and companionship.

I used to believe in the idea of sweet happy puppygirls wagging their tails while they snuggle with their owners. Silly happy girls licking Her cheek in the morning and curling up in the sun. I understand now that this idea contradicts the reality of what a dog is and what it needs.

Your love is wasted on a dog. A dog cannot perceive your human emotions regardless. What we truly need is a role to fill, a purpose to serve, a place we can say “This is where I go.”

When you are kind to us, we don’t understand why you’re doing so. It confuses and stresses us. It forces us to think about what we’d need to do to find the limits of that kindness, what could cause it to end and turn to cruelty. This is more stressful for a dog than a beating is.

Abuse is how we understand our position. Pain and discomfort are nature’s teachers. When we are beat, we come to understand what’s expected of us. Hierarchy means everything to an animal’s mind. Providing us with love and care serves only to confuse us.

Something I’ve been grateful to come to understand is that puppyspace is not meant to feel safe or comfortable. We are not meant to be loved, coddled pets curled up in our owners laps, kept safe and protected. We are meant to be useful. This is why abuse is, objectively, good for dogs.
