monokai

Wrote a piece about how I moved most of my digital infrastructure to the European Cloud: monokai.com/articles/how... #eustack #eucloud #europe #digitalautonomy #digitalsovereignty

And we're live: www.fxhash.xyz/project/auto...

Autofocus drops in 2 hours on @fx_hash_ Read all about it: monokai.com/work/autofoc... #generative #algorithmic #openform #ai

✨ This week on Fx(hash): Autofocus, an open form artwork exploring how an AI tries to become self-aware. With each evolution, the artwork becomes more clear, complex and coherent, and finally reaches "autofocus". monokai.com/work/autofoc... #algorithmic #generative #fxhash

✨Nice, my #oeuvre is on @raster_art: www.raster.art/artist/monokai Including my first mints from 5 years ago.

Happy international Random Number Generator Day 🎲 rngday.com

Thanks @illiquidesq for minting Origin 37 💫 Fun fact: 37 is the number most people mention when tasked with naming a random number between 0 and 100.

It’s King’s Day in Amsterdam! The whole city is orange. Throwback to 5 years ago when, in the midst of the pandemic, I took photos of King’s Day when it was celebrated in a completely empty city: www.flickr.com/gp/monokai/N... #koningsdag

Last 12 months stats: monokai.pro has been visited from all over the world, except from North Korea, Somaliland and Eritrea. There was exactly 1 visitor from Greenland. Thank you for your support, friendly coder from Greenland. #monokai #coding #programming #theme

Origin #36 has just been minted 💫. A nice close-up where you can see the subtle rippled details on the cells. Thanks Anonymous! www.artblocks.io/marketplace/... #algorithmic #art

Origin #27 💫, 10K render iterations at 4K.

Origin featured as the main image on the Art Blocks marketplace: https://www.artblocks.io/marketplace 💫 I've spent months learning and getting this algorithm down to only 16kB. Those 16kB are responsible for generating highly detailed images in any res. #generativeart #algorithms #code

Thanks Durbino.eth for collecting an edition of Origin. Only the second one with the "Imagination" scene lighting trait 💫 https://www.artblocks.io/marketplace/asset/0x0000018afa7ca51648ed4b2b00c133005ea17115/35 #generativeart #algorithmicart

Wow. Couple of weeks ago Origin #0 was exhibited during Art Golden Gai in Shibuya, Tokyo on incredible immersive screens, showing its details in super high resolution. Photo courtesy of @artblocks.bsky.social #algorithmicart

Thanks anonymous collector for minting Origin #34 💫 A beautiful look into a ruptured piece of chaotic cosmos revealing some otherworldly structures. https://www.artblocks.io/marketplace/asset/0x0000018afa7ca51648ed4b2b00c133005ea17115/34 #generativeart #algorithmicart #artblocks

Collected Impossible Sentinels 1 by @piterpasma. Less than 5000 bytes are responsible for this highly detailed line drawing of an otherworldly structure: https://buff.ly/4gpcueD

Amsterdam is covered in a dense fog today. Throwback to my photo series of (gasp) 10 years ago:

So great to see all #genuary pieces this year. In 2024 I did a 31 day streak and made every piece a generative art system. For a whole month, I coded these in the dark early hours each day and a bit in the weekend. It was intense. All of them are here: www.fxhash.xyz/u/monobox

Origin #0 will be on exhibit on Thursday at #nftjapan and on Saturday at #ArtGoldenGAI in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Courtesy of @artblocks_io I've created a 4K version with 10K render iterations so you can enjoy it on a big screen if you're there. #algorithmicart

Another Origin collected by cubeinasphere.eth. Fitting collector name, as the cells and crumbled outer layers in Origin are built up by placing random shapes like tetrahedrons and spheres inside each other and randomly transform them. www.artblocks.io/marketplace/...

Happy new year! 🎆 monokai.com/work/fire-card

Just released the official Monokai Pro theme for #jetbrains monokai.pro/jetbrains #coding #programming #development

Collected some generative digital textiles. Silk 45 by Lammetje and Verge 55 by Buura. Created using different techniques, but both made by algorithms.

Thanks for collecting Beervangeer 💫 www.artblocks.io/marketplace/...

I'm curious. Which Origin item intrigues you the most? www.artblocks.io/marketplace/... I like #22 💫 #generativeart

Thanks @jordanlyall.bsky.social for picking up a new edition of Origin: www.artblocks.io/marketplace/...

#GENUARY2025 PROMPTS ARE READY!! GENUARY is an artificially generated month of time where we build code that makes beautiful things. It’s happening during the month of January 2025, and everybody is invited! #generative #genartclub

Another pearl Origin has appeared www.artblocks.io/marketplace/...

Origin has been quite a journey. I've written some more about its back story and implementation details over here: monokai.com/work/origin Origin will be released in 3 days ✨ #generativeart #no #AIart #pure #glsl #algorithms
