Republican leaders in Congress made massive health care cuts. Now, half of Americans can't afford health care. Moms are fighting back by voting for Democrats who are working to make health care affordable for all.

Moms know it's best to be ready to pump with a phone and a snack handy. We also know it's best to be ready to raise our voices with our VOTE! This #NoKings isn't just a march. It's a nationwide early voting party. Are you in?

MomsRising was proud to attend the Institute for Women's Policy Research's #PowerPlus2026, joining researchers, advocates, and changemakers to explore the future of work, economic mobility, and gender equity. Together, we're working toward a future where women, moms, and families can thrive!

We discuss how ordinary people can reclaim their power, fight for freedom, and reimagine democracy, inspired by a new book, Ordinary People, Extraordinary Times, with Skye Perryman, Democracy Fwd, @democracyforward.org.

We cover the push for healthy school meals for all, highlighting a congressional briefing and the urgent need for robust policies as millions face SNAP cuts with Alexis Bylander, Food Research & Action Center (FRAC), @fracposts.bsky.social.

Our pop-up lemonade stand continued making the rounds in Bucks County, Harrisburg, Scranton, and LeHigh Valley! PA families are feeling the squeeze of rising costs for gas, groceries, child care…everything! We're showing Reps. Bresnahan, Mackenzie, Perry, and Fitzpatrick: we have the receipts!

We hear about ridiculous, destructive, and harmful proposal that the Trump administration put out recently to take money out of child care — which is already underfunded — and give it *only* to married, stay-at-home moms with Lauren Hipp, @momsrising.org, @mamasconpoder.org

Moms are on the ground in PA with our pop-up lemonade stand highlighting how 'moms are feeling the squeeze' when it comes to gas, groceries, health care, child care, and more. We're putting leaders like Brian Fitzpatrick and Scott Perry on notice: we have the receipts! #ThePriceIsHigh

The lemonade stands are part of Economic Security Project Action’s “The Price Is High” Week of Action from September 23-30, an affordability-focused accountability push in key competitive districts across the country.

We hear about significant victories for domestic workers and labor rights in Washington State, showcasing progress in protecting vulnerable workers with Danielle Alvarado, Working Washington & Fair Work Center.

The health of all Americans is in jeopardy. When elected officials cancel TPS, impose travel bans, and fund ICE, they're taking away the doctors, nurses, and care workers who keep our families healthy. Join us 9/24 to say #HealthcareNeedsAllofUs. www.healthcareneedsallofus.org

Groceries. Gas. Healthcare. Childcare. The price of EVERYTHING is too high. Republicans promised lower costs. Instead, they raised our bills. Now, working families are paying more and getting less while billionaires and big corporations profit. #ThePriceIsHigh

On the radio show this week, we delve into the experience of testifying in Congress on family economic security, highlighting the disconnect between many policymakers and the realities faced by families with Donna Norton interviewing Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, @momsrising.org, @mamasconpoder.org.

How are families supposed to get ahead when childcare now costs more than college? Childcare costs have skyrocketed in recent years, and families are getting priced out. Parents don't need motivation to work harder. They need affordable childcare and cash. @momsrising.org

Terminating healthcare. Gutting food aid. Cutting taxes for the ultra-rich. The Republican agenda isn't helping moms and families deal with the cost of living crisis. 👉 Listen to @momsrising.org's Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner break down exactly what our leaders should do instead:

SNL's Marcello Hernandez invited Zendaya and her sidekick/NYC's protector Spider-Man to dinner at last night's Emmy's—and we have more NY news for you. Gov. Hochul is poised to sign NY into a federal voucher program designed by dark-money billionaires and Trump-aligned groups. Quick signature 👇
