Most of the design pattern text goes like:
* Predicting future changes is hard.
* If there is X new requirement, pattern Y would have prevented it.
* Gives an example to act as a proof.
* Ignores the fact we do not know what will be required in future.
At least that is my current understanding.
me and junie vibe coded a small feature i didn't want to do myself.
"good job junie"
"waow junie good job again"
it gets more powerful if you know the stack. i could only use it better after i read the nextjs docs myself first.
ooo i can run a meta-search engine which just aggregates and ranks results from all search engines.
it has been nice so far. do not have the time to customize it atm.
i like the results and ranking so far.
Jetbrains Gateway + Tailscale combo remains undefeated when I have to use my Intellij at school.
I just do all my work at a school library and when I go home it is all there on my computer. Hopefully IT never finds me booting from a USB hehe.
i want to write more servers in kotlin. but it is so expensive to host a simple ktor server.
a simple ktor app uses ~200MB memory. i only get about 800 or so MB on my small VPS.
so i can only really put 3 kotlin apps there or 15 go apps. :/
This semester is really gonna break me, why did I do this to myself.
Why did I pick such a heavy course workload when I had the option to choose easy courses.
Okay the report is complete. I have done 1 revision.
Time to number the graphs and reference them. Maybe add more tables to show the data used for the graphs. Then I will do a final check and hit submit.
Then I need to start preparing for 2 of my exams tomorrrow.
Type of effort I put into assignments so they are super easy to mark for the TAs.
No 15000 words paragraph describing why my solution is correct. Just a diagram.
Just played highly stressful tic tac toe matches.
I was playing in 4 terminal tabs, so 4 games against myself and I had to make a move against myself every 30 seconds or my server ends the connection.
Wow multiplayer tic tac toe over TCP which timesout and frees the room if one of the player doesn't move for 30 seconds in complete.
You can join 1 of the 5 rooms to play it. Nice. Time to write report on the protocol and other design stuff. Then I will make it report more errors. And
Just 1 more try catch, just 1 more try catch.
Man I miss my runCatching { }.
I am sure there is better way to do this in C++ but I do not have the time to learn so I will just rant.
