thread about DLSS 5 (1/4) though i'm talking about that a bit lately, but i really wanna speak out. y'all recently saw updated DLSS 5 that was leaked from a preview version of NBA2K that people started to test on different games. i even saw positive opinions about it, which is insanity lol.

(3/4) The most important thing in the game's graphics is not a million details, not ultra-realistic lighting, and not a huge number of fucking wrinkles on the face, but ART DESIGN. people seems to not understand that even games which tends to be realistic have their own unique stylization.

(4/4) that's how we can differentiate games like GTA, cyberpunk or resident evil by just looking at their screenshots. DLSS just turns all of those unique designs, all of those game identities into one generic "hyper realistic" ai slop.

(2/4) DLSS 5 is just an AI that redraws all your frames. we're literally at the point when every frame of a game is AI generated. not only DLSS produces literal hallucinations in games (since it works as a screenspace effect), it also kills artistic choices, design and identity of any game.

(1/4)‼️IMAGE LINE STOLE MY LICENSE AND MONEY ‼️ Yesterday my Image Line account was silently deleted. FL Studio went in trial mode, I couldn't login into my account, and I lost the Signature bundle license. I had no emails from them about deleting the account nor why they did that.

(3/4) I think they deleted the account because their anti-sharing system triggered on that I was using a VPN that automatically shifts between locations, so it looked like i was sharing a license. But, as I said, I don't even know why exactly they deleted the account.

(4/4) I'm hopeless about recovering my license or returning my money, but I at least wanna know why the hell this happened. Be very careful with their licenses.

(2/4) I created a new account and reached out to their customer support. In response they wrote me some insanely stupid nonsense, and after that they deleted that account too.
