There should be an international default CSV data format, regardless of the bank

Marek Pankowski@mkpanq.com

I'm shocked by how poorly Polish banks have implemented their CSV data exports. Bruh, values are returned as 22 222,23 (yes, space between tens) which causes all spreadsheet formatting to go crazy What the hell do you need that space for? 🫠

The Blood of the Downwalker made me give away my PS5… For cleaning, replacing termopasta and controller sticks replacement. 😂 Next in the queue: - Witcher 3 remaster (this time all Skelige marks will be done) - GTA 6 I’m ready for the autumn

This is also a good topic for another discussion: how do you feel about your coding skills nowadays? Not to mention the boredom, but do you think you would be able to write code the same way you did before the AI revolution?

vdv working environment representative@vdv-work-env-rep.eurosky.social

None of the mentioned. I use chatgpt without an account for doc lookup and small building blocks sometimes (when i cannot remember the syntax). I am programming very little nowadays so I'd rather write it myself because I find this agentic stuff highly boring 🥱

#GTA6 looks really good. Little disappointed by not exactly showing all the potential new game mechanics (but if u played RDR2 u wouldn’t be surprised) but still the feeling, music and game overall is something. Was kinda sceptic Now I’m little pumped up

Hey devs ! What are u using as your daily #AI driver?

Marek Pankowski@mkpanq.com

My dear developers - I came to the most important choice. What's best (price & power) LLM for development work - Claude Code (Pro / Max) - Open Code with local LLM (I've got M2 Max with 64Gb RAM) - Open Code with Zen / other models package ? - Codex? - Pay as use in Open Code / Open Router ?

I'd rather use it as a code tool. I'm already using @raycast.com AI as my daily driver for standard work and brainstorming, so I'd rather think about the best tool for agentic coding—either the most powerful or the cheapest possible Happy for opinions, discussions, your thoughts 🙏🏻 Thanks for any RT

So... Do we have some blogging platform and GitHub alternative for AT protocol ? 🤔

Andrew Lisowski 💻@hipstersmoothie.com

Yeah mostly Aptroto is the name of the protocol, atmosphere is the name for all the things built on it Similar to how the web is build on a set of protocols but we call it “the internet” or “the web”

Update Moving to Zed. I really wanted to get into full terminal config on the freshly cleanup Mac, but unfortunately with my muscle memory and habits it's nearly impossible to start LazyVim after years of Codium-based editors. Zed is a good choice to start something new, I guess

Update It doesn't work

Not gonna lie - in terms of writing something simple for my own, private needs, the AI is pure gold. I've never written single line in lua, but that's a fundamental language in lazy vim config. I'm just writing down what I need in my vim config and got ready config files for my lazy vim config

My AI after my whining about LazyVim customization and more and more questions regarding the keybinding "Bruh, just switch to the Jetbrains and f*ck off"

I really wanted to get into pure terminal tools configuration to the point where, if someone threw my computer out of a window, I would be able to restore everything using only my dotfiles. But god damn, 6 minutes into LazyVim tutorial and already thinking about moving to Zen. 🤣

I really tried to get into X once again. I really tried. Now I should just apologize and say to all of you Hello world ! 👋 #goodToBeBackToBlogging

I think many people underestimate how using Claude Code (or anything else) is a great way for learning a new things. Like, creating Terraform arch is cool, but right now it's much easier to understand each element and each implementation step Of course having docs still open next to you 🤓

Boy, I've not realised how chaotic my Claude Code setup was. Starting with two different executables in two different versions 🙈

4 different areas, 4 different projects, and I'm not even counting the side hustles/small app ideas. That's the sign I need to come back to my Ralph implementation. Moving from pure coding to implementation verification (yo) must happen if I want to deliver it all at some basic level.

If the levels of positions in software development ever reflected the true level of knowledge, it would only be in the case of implementing AI agents at an appropriate level of sophistication.

A couple of years ago, when I read something that I completely did not understand, my first reaction was, "Oh my god, I have a stroke." Right now, it's, "Oh, it's just AI bullshit."

Amusing how this result is how the web USED to work early 2000s! No nonsense webpages. But the web has decayed badly with free sites monetizing ads and optimizing for SEO. I have no illusions in another 5-10-15 years this approach (search via an LLM the web) could well decay
