I know that everyone is focused on Trump's attacks in California and Alaska. My team is fighting in court in both places. But understand the fight for free and fair elections is much broader. Elias Law Group is currently litigating 92 voting and election cases in 42 states plus DC.

This is insulting to Liberace, even he spent less time talking about and admiring men's asses than Trump does.

Knowing Elon, he'll spend $420 million then post a very stupid tweet about it.

Dan Pfeiffer@danpfeiffer.bsky.social

Elon Musk is spending an unprecedented, absolutely disgusting amount of money to help Republicans. By some counts, it’s well north of $400 million in this cycle. Money matters, but Elon’s money comes with a political price. www.messageboxnews.com/p/why-elon-m...

DON’T BE AFRAID, BE PREPARED. AG Todd Blanche was asked a simple question: Will the DOJ try to block states from certifying election results? He couldn’t give a simple NO. Instead, he left the door open to hypothetical scenarios. @marcelias.bsky.social

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE GRASSED AREAS? It cuts off at the most important part, the part of the Reflecting *Pool* that has grassed areas. Is that why it was so green, they laid sod down underwater?

This is a good reminder that the Reflecting Pool STILL isn’t finished

It's not that surprising that AI can get drunk when it hallucinates totally sober.

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

A drunk ICE agent attacked a 72-year-old man and his daughter, resulting in the ICE agent being shot in self-defense. If this is the kind of agents they are sending to California, I am not as concerned as I was about them being sent to the polls - they will be too drunk to function.

If you haven't voted already, just a couple of weeks remain until the 10/25 deadline for Americans For Safe Access' #2026CannabisSafetyAwards. Scan the QR code in the graphic to vote for my pioneering research on cannabis packaging waste in the Discovery category. #CannabisSafetyMonth

If you aren't familiar with my findings, in a nutshell, cannabis packaging regulations that came with legalization dramatically increased the volume of waste being generated. Now, in California, cannabis packaging waste is a stream larger than motor oil or batteries, and as big as pharmaceuticals.

Since publishing, I have presented my findings to cannabis regulators and advisory boards around the US and, despite a deprioritization of sustainability goals by the federal government, there has been renewed interest at the local and state levels. #2026CannabisSafetyAwards #CannabisSafetyMonth

Trump's ban on MSNOW, CNN, and Politico is not only part of the autocratic playbook, but the timing is no coincidence. Trump is well in the autocratic backfire process, thus, entire media outlets he sees as threats must be banished. This is a moment of reckoning for America.

If one good thing can come out of this horrific policy change, can we all learn that it's spelled bestiality even though it's pronounced "beast?"

Middlerage@middlerage.bsky.social

WHAT? People who are forced into beastiality are a protected class, but teenage girls forced into sex are not to be believed.

I can imagine it, and it's a world with less climate refugees, because we addressed the concerns raised way back in Kyoto, people who have more options in life because they are better educated, so there is less crime and terrorism and a more stable world.

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

In the 25 years since 9/11, the United States has spent $8 trillion+ on wars that have taken millions of lives in the name of fighting "terror." Can you imagine if we had instead invested those funds here on climate, health care, housing, and education?

As JD Vance would say it, enjoy celebrating 9/11 today. As a normal human being would say it, I hope this day doesn't bring up any difficult memories for you while people are commemorating the bravery of our first responders and average Americans today. Our VP is a wanker.

While the 400% increase in preroll waste may seem shocking, it is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to cannabis waste. I'm glad Ross also touched on the need for improved infrastructure, which is even more important when it comes to vape devices that can cause fires at waste facilities.
