As I have always said: amateur art by humans will always be infinity more charming than anything AI, because the choices come from real desire.

China’s first AI-generated theatrical feature has flopped, earning just $181,000 in its first weekend. By contrast, the scrappy ‘Niu Lai’ turned its crude animation into a viral attraction, grossing nearly $10 million a couple of months ago. www.cartoonbrew.com/box-office-r...

I don't need anything urgently right now, luckily, but my therapist said it wouldn't do me any harm to start promoting it. So yeah, coffees might be used to pay my very good therapist.

The bios aren't masterfully written by any means since I want these to be very quick and simple and just get the point across (you seriously don't want to see my synopsis of each part in the story), but the point is to make a comic. Eventually.

This is going to come as a shock for everyone here and you're not going to believe it, but: I draw things that aren't Pokémon. Hell, I draw things that aren't Pokémon more often than I draw Pokémon. I just dread posting on social media (it's a miracle I'm keeping up with the mons).

Locking this thread now, thanks to those who shared and very big and special thanks to @virdthebird.bsky.social for the code! 🙏 (Do check his art out!)

Just throwing this into the void: I'm looking into opening a VGen account once I finish my current commission queue, if anyone has an artist code they want to give out, I promise I'm a legal dude (my regulars can testify to this) and will make a good use of it.

Limiting interaction as to not be swarmed by bots, but if you know someone who might have a code, they're free to DM me here.

I've only ever read mixed comments about this creature but tbh I have very fond memories of it since getting it from that White 2 event. I was like 10 years old and thought it was the coolest guy I'd ever seen. Anyway. One more gen(esect) down.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes yesterday, I'm far too depressed right now to reply to them all but they're appreciated 🙏
