"Water & Tools" is an exploration that follows Canadian multi-instrumentalist Jairus Sharif all over the place. From spacey modal saxophone to skronked-out fuzz, the album documents a wide range of expression, moving from one sound to another with abandon. mirlo.space/jairus/relea... #MirloMondays

Mirb's found a new release on #Mirlo: Written in Rust (final) by monolalia https://mirlo.space/monolalia/release/written-in-rust Support Mirlo: https://mirlo.space/team/connect ❤️🐦‍⬛ Follow the Mirlo account: @mirlo #Music #Audio #Musicians #Fediverse #RSS #New #NewRelease #MusicDiscovery

mirlo.spaceWritten in Rust (final)An album by monolalia Released 2026-10-25 I make moody, layered, explorable electronic darkwave with some electro-industrial grit, a certain playfulness, organic vaguely guitarish basslines, old-timey radio/movie/TV samples, and sparse “real” vocals. A printable bare-minimum CD sleeve (front, back) is included with the download because making amateurish graphics can be fun too.

This week, we're recommending an instrumental release by Maxime Pem, which blends the towering, epic synths you'd expect from early M83 with the acoustic rawness of "Is This Desire?" era PJ Harvey, plus a bit of trip-hop thrown in for good measure. 👀🐦‍⬛ mirlo.space/maximepem/re... #MirloMondays

Because a lot of us are hard to be around on a Monday, here's today's #MirloMondays discovery, which is also "Hard to be Around". No, that's the title. And it's got split vocals with a feeling of barely concealed menace, raucous riffs and everything. 👀🐦‍⬛ Listen here: mirlo.space/model/releas...
