New minor @arseblog.com app update is now live including: - Theme switcher (dark, light or system) - Arsecast will now show how long left of an episode and show which you’ve played - Player injuries flagged on the squad tab - News and Blog will auto refresh - liveblog can be opened full screen

We are aware of the live notification issue on Android on the @arseblog.com app. We are currently travelling back from the game today, so just give us a bit of time and we can fix that out. Apologies if it’s annoying! This was the first test in a live game for these notifications on Android.

We are rolling out the ability to post news comments on the newly updated @arseblog.com app. It’ll be available to all users on v11.8 up. Android is available now, iOS is waiting for Apple to approve it. Give it a try and let us know if it works ok. Report any issues via settings in the app.

The reading of @arseblog.com news comments in the app is rolling out on Android and iOS. You’ll find them at the bottom of each article. Arses and ability to write comments will be coming in a future update while we navigate a few technical challenges.

And I’ll make it all up to you with the v11.4 @arseblog.com release coming tomorrow. That’s if you like even more stats, player profiles, heatmaps and momentum charts of course!

Just released an extra bonus version (11.1) of @arseblog.com on iOS and Android containing bug fixes and a load of new stat based data, league tables and more on the Matchday tab. Enjoy!

Both iOS and Android @arseblog.com app updates are now available for everyone. Thanks to all the beta testers who helped iron out some issues. If you spot anything else please do email apps@arseblog.com Beta testers, I’d suggest deleting the test version and installing fresh from your App Store.

And iOS @arseblog.com users, your final build is now ready to test (update in TestFlight) which includes fixes for the news images and links not working, plus other bits and pieces mentioned in your feedback. As long as no major issues, I will be submitting this to Apple for full AppStore approval

Since we relaunched the @arseblog.com apps we have had a staggering 10 million interactions recorded. Thank you to everyone who’s downloaded, reported bugs, and been patient while we fix up gremlins. The apps are going to hopefully take on a bigger interactive role in the coming months!

iOS @arseblog.com users rejoice! Apple have finally approved the update which fixes the issue when tapping an article from a push notification and getting stuck. We also made it iOS 26 Liquid Glass ready. Working on the font size adjustments next! #COYG

Hey Android @arseblog.com users. Just wanted to see if you’re getting push notifications ok for news and blog articles? We made some behind the scenes changes and the stats suggest they are coming but let us know! We also made a change that will hopefully open the article from the push now 🙏🏻

Android @arseblog.com users, there was an update yesterday so please make sure you update to the latest version in the Google Play Store.

Push should now we working on the new platform for iOS on @arseblog.com, if any Android users could let us know if they’ve received this mornings blog push that would be great! Have noticed a slight bug with iOS and not being able to close the article if you tap it from the notification. Will fix!

New version of @arseblog.com for iOS is now rolling out as an update in the AppStore. Once this release has stabilised we’ll be reactivating push notifications across both platforms. Thanks for all the patience, been a very difficult migration unfortunately.

Good news! We (well, Andrew) identified and fixed the issue with the @arseblog.com app on Android. Give it a restart and it should be working as normal. Also submitted a fix for the opening of links inside articles that were opening more than once. iOS users, your new app is also about to drop!

We’ve identified the @arseblog.com issue on Android, thankfully it doesn’t require an update just a change in the back end. Just bear with us and we’ll have that back working shortly.

Thanks all for the patience while the new @arseblog.com app for Android was rebuilt. We had so many blockers from Google, but finally there. Please send feedback directly to us rather than Andrew as we’ll be the ones fixing any bugs or layout issues. Push will be enabled in the coming days!

iOS users of @arseblog.com may currently be getting duplicate push notifications. We are having to migrate hundreds of thousands of devices to make sure the new Android app will work correctly and it appears this may be having an impact. So just bear with us while we sort that.
