Together with Just Good Work, we’ve developed a portal for people seeking asylum, refugees, and migrant workers to learn about work and life in the UK. It now supports 11 languages, making it even more accessible for those who need it most.

The portal gives job seekers and workers critical information and advice for everything needed on the journey to work, from recruitment to employment and life in a new destination to moving on or returning home.

You've heard the myths. At the school gate, in the office, at a family dinner. Someone repeats something they saw online about refugees and you know it isn't true, but you freeze. You don't want a row. You don't want to sound preachy. So you say nothing. And it eats at you.

As you may already know, we are also a member of the Coalition to Stop Slavery, a group of UK-based voluntary, community and statutory organisations whose goal is to end modern slavery and human trafficking for good.

This year, the Coalition launched its See the Strings campaign, which has been running throughout this week in the lead-up to 18 October, bringing organisations across the sector together to raise awareness of the signs of human trafficking and encourage people to notice, question and act.

At Migrant Help, we’re very proud of the assistance we provide to survivors of slavery across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, alongside our work to raise awareness and influence legislation that affects our clients.
